"The spring on the garage door broke at 3:30 p.m. when my wife returned from the Post Office. Normally, having both cars “trapped” in the garage would be an annoyance — we could just reschedule our following day around a service call. This time, however, the schedule was already set: a 6:00 a.m. trip to the health center for cataract surgery. The first order of business was to try to get the spring replaced.We called our usual service company but they had no one free for “emergency” service that late in the day. "We had a hailstorm in March 2020 right before the shutdown. Will came out and inspected our house and found damage to roof siding and gutters. He then contacted my insurance and because of covid my insurance company’s color match and inspection departments were closed. He stayed with them until they approved the repairs in July 2020. The roof was replaced immediately. The siding was on back order because of covid, we were kept informed though out this time. The siding came in in December 2020 and we asked them to wait until after Christmas, which they did. The 1st was on a weekend, so January 4th they began installing the siding which took 2 days and then they installed the gutters on the 3rd day. Could not have been happier with the work or more grateful for their help with insurance and suppliers during this pandemic. Also I want to thank them for keeping me updated though all the months it took because of covid. Had to be frustrating to them also. The house looks great and I am very happy!"

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"Everything went really well considering we were not planning to replace flooring in the kitchen or installing a new sliding glass door. Our initial intent was to replace/fix the grout in the kitchen that was cracking and coming up. However upon further review it was discovered that the tile had not been appropriately laid initially. When removing the tile from the kitchen we found that our sliding glass door had been leaking and there was damage to our floor and the door needed to be replaced. Very happy with the results overall.
