"I had a sewer backup in my basement. Used Angi’s list and gave RTillery, Alex, a call. They were fantastic - great estimate, responsive, professional, courteous, quick in all their responses, the list goes on. I started with replacing the inside cast iron pipe. Alex even added a clean out. He and his crew were prompt, always polite and professional. They didn’t seem to mind my popping in to watch. The line was replaced in a day and a half w/ minimal water outage. After going back and forth I decided to replace the outside pipes. Alex provided several options. Other estimates would dig up the yard, sidewalk and driveway, replace the cast iron and terra cotta, but no cement work. RTillery slid the new PVC inside the terra cotta which was cheaper and less to dig up and they replaced the sidewalk! Only one other company offered to sleeve the PVC and it cost more! RTillery even came back to fix an issue they noticed doing their final checks. Wow! Can’t recommend these guys enough!"

"Several years back, I called for help and we talked through my problem. We concluded that no water was leaving my house and it was backing up out of a pipe in the basement. In talking through our architecture and location, he determined this was most likely something that could be solved by Baltimore City services (for free). That turned out to be the case. The City workers came out fairly quickly, identified and cleared the clog outside my home, and I paid nothing (outside of my tax returns, of course ... "my tax dollars at work"). Knock You Out could have tried to make some money off of me by saying they needed to come out and look at it, then referring me to the City, and then charging me for their time/truck-roll (while prolonging the entire thing for me). Knock You Out is not cold and unscrupulous. By spending time with me on the phone, but doing no work here and making nothing from it, they proved themselves to be honest and decent people. And that may be the main thing we shop for in home services."

"I called James based upon his Angie's List reviews. He was polite, professional and listened to what I wanted done. He quoted me a price over the phone after asking a few questions. James called the morning of the scheduled service to let me know he was on his way and he and his assistant showed up on time and quickly got to work. They answered all the questions I had while there, explaining what they were doing and why whenever I was curious. The replacement was done in a reasonable amount of time and they took the old water heater with them. They cleaned up their work area afterwards and besides the shiny new water heater, you would never have known they were there. The price that I was quoted was the price I paid. I will be calling James the next time I have a plumbing need and if anyone ever asks me if I know a plumber, I will respond with "yeah, I have a guy" and give them James's contact info."

"Pohlman Brothers created a basement bathroom in my daughter's house. They excavated the concrete floor and ground to install drain pipes and moved an existing laundry sink. They installed piping as well as a tub/shower, toilet, and sink. They are very professional, flexible, and provide excellent workmanship. All of their work was permitted and passed inspection. This is the second time I have used Pohlman Brothers for a significant remodel project and highly recommend them."
