"We were without power for nearly 5 days during that winter snow/ice storm beginning of January 2014, so our home was below zero thus causing damage to the pipes, some even busted. We found Nick at Quality Control on Angie's List and called him right away so we could have water again. He got us into his schedule during a crazy busy time for him as well the very same day later on that night and got all repaired and water turned back on thankfully. Then, while was here, he went ahead and checked over other items in the house to do a complete analysis of plumbing and informed us that our water heater had been leaking and a couple of the bathroom nozzles were leaking. He came back the following week and installed the warrantied water heater simply charging us for installation and also went above and beyond by fixing the bathroom nozzles as just part of the negotiated deal. Nick even fixed the nozzle in the master bathroom because it was mounted wrong and we now have nice, hot water again in there for our showers. It had been lukewarm water for a couple of years and we never knew why, but Nick knew why and fixed it for us. YEAH! <br /> I also ended up having some heating issues during this same time frame, so Nick and his team who are also great, too, took care of that in a timely matter giving us heat back the very same night. They ended up having to replace the inducer blower motor, which another company quoted at nearly $100 more than they charged me. I'll be posting another review on Angie's List for the excellent work for the category of heating and cooling. <br /> If you are looking for a professional, fairly priced, reliable, trustworthy company who cares, then you should call Quality Control! <br /> THANK YOU! "Eric Geyer is a very competent, nice and efficient plumber. He is a one man show. He is not the cheapest out there but you will always get excellent work at a reasonable price worry-free. Eric ended up having to cut-out the old cast-iron waste pipe and replacing with PVC. He arrived on time at 9:00 and originally quoted $450, spent a little while getting materials, and got the job done before 2:00. The final price was $550 but the job gone done in an efficient manner and I am extremely happy with the work. ---I hired Eric a few years ago when he re-piped my basement gas lines due to a few gas leaks. He also did an excellent job under those circumstances and that is why I went with him this time too."
