"We expanded a ground floor family room, which required complete exterior and interior construction, with stacked stone to match existing exterior. Existing plumbing, electrical, and duct work had to be moved around. The room has a 5x10 closet with pull-down attic door and insulted attic above. A bay build-out added space to our dining room, and we added a walk-in pantry to the kitchen. Materials were included in the total price but not broken out. The contractor underestimated either the amount of stone needed or the cost of the (available) stone required to match the existing exterior. He covered about $400 of the additional materials cost; we covered about $1000 at his request. Lesson learned: In the contract, stipulate the dollar amount designated for special materials. Other than that and some slow downs due to occasional absent workers, the job went as planned and we're happy with the result. We appreciated the daily clean-up as it was a lengthy project and just living with the upheaval was at times a challenge. Mark had a cleaning crew come one weekend to help keep things in order."

"Eddie Ogier (owner) and his crew are easy to work with. They explain what they are doing and why they need to do it that way. The quality or work, the care to detail, are terrific. Eddie had been recommended to me for Stucco work when we moved into our first stucco home. In fact, we were encouraged to avoid all others! They specialize in stucco work and it shows. They took the stucco evaluation from the stucco inspector and took care of all our problems, which were considerable. Eddie also added two new windows during the buildout of the basement rec room. The results were excellent. Years later, the work done since then has been quite modest as Eddie got us ahead of the curve with the initial repairs. Just a note. One winter a year or two after our first work with Eddie noted above, we had a horrendous water leak in our kitchen during weeks of an extended freeze. I called Eddie hoping to get a recommendation on where to turn. To my surprise and great pleasure. Eddie came out personally, got on our icy roof, found the problem and spent a day on the roof fixing it. What can you say about someone so willing to help his customers!"

For starters, UCS customer service was absolutely amazing, they were able to get a tech out that same evening to further look over the damages and within 48 hours I was given an excellent cost to repair. They were able to have repairs underway quickly and were complete within a matter of days despite the severe weather. The techs that completed the work were given very high praise from the manager of the store and are very pleased with the repairs, as well as the Corp heads funding the repairs. "I called Model Construction and left a message for the owner, Kent, to call me.  That afternoon he promptly called and scheduled a time to come by and submit an estimate.  While I was at work, the day scheduled for the estimate, Kent stopped by and quickly e-mailed an estimate.  After deciding the estimate was fair I e-mailed a response and told Kent to go ahead and schedule the job.  He  gave me a two day window with the dates he would have his crew available to do the job.  He asked for a deposit with an agreement to pay the rest at time of completion.  I asked Kent to meet with me and I would give him the deposit in person.  He had no problem doing that and we met, signed the paperwork and I gave him a check.  I left for work the next day and while I was away Kent had his crew install the new roof.  When I arrived home that afternoon the only evidence that anyone had been there was my new roof.  Very good job matching shingles and cleaning up after the job.  Less than a week later we had major rain showers and there were no signs of any leaks. <br />"
