"My mother-in-law contacted this company to fix a leaking gas line in her home. Plumber (Bryce) came out in a timely manner and checked on the status of their lines. After finding 11 leaks near fittings it was recommended to replace the old gas line. At this point, everything seemed good and then came the quote. This company wanted roughly $3800 to replace by their estimate; 50ft of line from the meter through a drop-down ceiling with easy access to two appliances. Making the job cost a whopping $75 afoot! At this point, I got involved as it was clear they were taking advantage of her given the time of year (New Years) and the cold temperature. Having worked in construction for many years, I asked Bryce why this relatively simple job was going to cost so much. After some back and forth he became defensive and hung up on me. I advised my mother-in-law to pay for the work they had done and never talk to this company again. She made an appointment with another more reputable company and they quoted her $980 ($20 an ft) to do the same work! Now tell me where the $2800+ difference comes in besides this company seeking to take advantage of women in a bad situation. It is practices like this that give this industry a bad name and I would be ashamed to be associated with this company in any way. Always get second opinions on work and watch out for companies like this they prey on peoples trust. UPDATE: Was contacted by the company manager, they apologized for what happened and stated that the above tech had been let go due to past transgressions of a similar nature. Additionally they waived the service fee she had been charged for that techs works. I appreciate the manager taking the time to try and make this right and reaching out to her. "Really excellent company to work with. They performed a big project for us last year replacing several feet of our exterior sewer line and installing a new HVAC unit. They had to put the HVAC unit on top of ground that had been previously completely dug up for the sewer line. A year later the HVAC unit had started to sink in on an angle. I messaged them about it and within a couple days they were here and lifted the unit back up and put rock underneath to keep it from sinking again. Really appreciated their quick response and the effort to help with that. It wasn't their fault erosion happened, but they clearly take pride in their work. Much appreciated! Can't recommend this company highly enough."

"Was not pleased with the mess he left. He had to cut through the drywall to get to the pipe. He left the drywall, the big piece that he cut out and several other pieces all over the floor, along with the shavings. My son was home and when the worker was done, he didn't let my son know that he was leaving and was done with the job. He didn't even have my son go downstairs to see if the spicket was even working. It's not running anymore, but I don't know if it works!"

"As promised the week before, they arrived exactly at noon.  I had two jobs for them to do, both of which could have run several hundred dollars each.  The hose bib on the outside of the house had an old plumbing fitting which had rusted onto the faucet.  I'd had two other (non-plumber) repairmen try to remove it but they had each given up because they didn't want to break the pipes in the wall.  I thought we'd have to replace the whole hose bib, which would run well over $200.  But the Atwell plumber was able to use a Sawzall to cut the fitting off and leave the faucet threads intact.  I'm now able to attach a hose to that outside faucet for the first time in years and the cost was minimal. 
Additionally, we had a toilet that was leaking from under the base.  When I called and spoke to the owner, Jim Atwell, he mentioned that it could be anything from a broken seal to a broken flange - which could lead to many hundreds of dollars worth of repair if they had to cut down into the concrete slab to replace it.  But when they pulled the toilet out, they found that the laminate flooring we'd had put down a couple of years ago had compressed, leaving play on the bolts and causing the base seal to break.  It was an easy fix of replacing the seal and rebolting with tighter fittings.
Both of these repairs could easily have been padded to cost much more.  They not only did the repairs quickly, but for much less than I was anticipating. They were friendly and professional and I was very, very pleased with the outcome.  I will definitely be calling them for all my future plumbing needs.

"The sales part was a bit catchy. I was originally quoted a much higher rate, but after sharing a similar product and installation at a lower price, the gentleman from Summers called back and offer us a price with in $100 of the other quote and quicker service.
Installation was okay. The installers did not check to ensure the floor drain in our basement worked (it didn't) and created a large puddle in the basement, since our basement is not finished, it was not a big deal, but a little messy. A few hours after installation I turned on our bathroom sink and heard a loud "pop" from the basement. One of the welds on the piping had burst. Fortunately, my husband was able to turn off the water, to keep from flooding the basement. It took them a few hours before they were available to come out and fix the problem.
