"We worked with Andrew at Amazing Decks and the entire experience was excellent! We were replacing a 30 year old self installed deck with a screened in porch and larger deck. We had ideas and Andrew provided suggestions. What sealed the deal was being able to see the materials and discuss final options with Andrew a at their showroom in Ambler. They quoted a price and schedule and were right on. Installation of our 700sqft deck/screened in porch occurred in January / February 2022. They arranged for the permits, dumpster, port-a-potty, materials delivery, and foundation work. They had a super dedicated installation team that worked on our job straight for 2 weeks in some of the worst weather we had - temps in the teens, snow, freezing rain. They removed the existing deck and built the new deck. They kept us up to date on the progress and explained the construction every day to me. They were very courteous and maintained a clean construction site. The final punch list took less than a few hours to complete. Our township required a seepage pitch for drainage. Amazing Decks also coordinated the work for it, which happened in April 2022. Once completed, they did a final cleanup of the job site, filled in some ruts in the lawn, seeded and put hay on the bare spots. Overall, from beginning to end, they were fantastic to work with and the finished product - decks and screened in porch are - you guessed it - Amazing!"

"When that big 24 inch snowfall hit in February and virtually toppled our 8- foot high bushes that conceal an outdoor patio in NE Philadelphia, I made a terrible error in judgment. The branches continued to touch the ground. After two weeks they were doused in snow and hanging low. I went out there with a saw and cut them down. My handiwork left a gaping hole the size of a giant tent on our front yard. When spring arrived a few weeks later, I looked at my handiwork and gawked at the result. What a mess! It was like looking through a big tent that exposed a patio on the other side of the front lawn. That's when I turned to Angie's List to research a way to cover up my mistake. Owner Steve Chepurny willingly made the trek to our home even though I warned him that what I needed was landscape counseling, not necessarily landscape execution. I wanted to know what kind of plants should go in to cover up my mistake. And I told him that I might not want to pay for him to come up and do the work. Imagine going to a therapist and telling him/her that you want advice, but you don't want to pay for it. Steve came out anyway. He spent 30 minutes with me going over all of my options. Then he e-maled me a complete estimate with pictures of how the finished job would look. In the end I wasn't charged a dime for any of this. Not a dime! I guess that's why Beechwood Landscape is recommended by so many! That's what I call good PR. And I believe it's worth spreading the word about Beechwood!"

"Worked primarily with Chip, John and Brian. We really wanted to get rid of our drop ceiling and the dining room and take out the wall between it and the kitchen to give us an open floor plan. We live in a house build in the 1920's so I was worried what we would find when we started opening things up. The Home Improvement Coach spent a lot of time with me prior to the project starting and because of their experience working in older homes, made me feel comfortable that if anything did come up, they could handle it. They did a fantastic job and completed the project on time and on budget. My biggest things when evaluating contractors are quality of work and communication. The Home Improvement Coach excels at both. I was happily surprised during the project at their willingness to clean up thoroughly at the end of every day. Even though they were working at the house for a couple weeks, they understood that we still had to live there and did everything they could to allow us to be comfortable in the evenings. Every time we had questions or concerns, Chip and team were quick and happy to respond. We made some changes during the project and to no surprise, they were happy to accommodate. I would highly recommend Chip and look forward to having them back to renovate our kitchen."
