He suggested going with a custom lacquer instead of the paint color I had picked out. He was right on the mark. The finished desk was just delivered. They had to completely strip and sand 80 years of family use off of it. Still it was right on time and price. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Took our timeframe into consideration and did one piece sooner for us based on need. Allowed us to come and select the stains, which they custom mixed and hand rubbed in multiple coats. Color matched several pieces and made suggestions for staining others. Finished in a timely manner and delivered to our home."
