"All three toilets in my house became backed up at 5pm on a Friday. Roto Rooter was the only plumber who could come out. The plumber who came out did clear the line through the ground level clean-out. I was charged double what I had previously paid another plumber for the same service. Then he veered into the purely creepy by texting me, while sitting on my sofa staring me in the face, that he had something to tell me about my drains but I needed to call him after my housekeeper left for him to tell me. He continued to refuse to discuss it despite my saying it didn't matter that my housekeeper was there. He then told me that he wanted to send someone out with a camera to better inspect the line. He said someone would be out at 9am Saturday morning, and that I didn't need to be home. I never heard anything more until more than a week later, when I got a call from "Roto Rooter Dispatch" wanting to schedule the inspection that was supposed to have already happened. So we scheduled it between 1 and 4 today. Since I was told that I did indeed need to be home, I canceled an appointment and stayed home all afternoon. No one ever showed up, nor did anyone call. I appreciate that someone could get my toilets functioning on a late Friday afternoon. Beyond that these people are a total disaster and should be avoided."

"Stop and read this recommendation. I sent request on HomeAdvisor for plumber for master bath toilet break, they responded in minutes and came to home in a few hours. I went and purchased a new tank unit parts replacement for the plumber. When the guys arrived they found my plug was just hardened and offered to fix it for free and not charge me the $249.00 install of the parts I purchased. This saved me over $300.00. They refused to even let me pay for a service call so instead I tipped the two guys for their honesty and generosity. I now have a lifetime plumber in Dallas and will recommend them on every social platform I use. "I had prevously had an Ajax Plumber sent from First American Home Buyers.  He tried cabling the drain in the shower and then determined the problem was with the vent and he needed  to go up on the roof and cable the shower vent.  This was not covered under the First American Home Buyers Warranty.  The price would be $250 which seemed excessive to me. <br /> I then checked Angies list and saw that Casa View Plumbing was rated A on drains with reasonable prices.  When I called, the appointment was scheduled for that afternoon.  When they arrived, I explained was had occurred to that point and it was decided that cabling the roof vent was the way to go.  They quoted a price of $140  honored the $25 coupon I found on line.  for a final price of $115.  <br /> Quick excellent service.  Highly recommend. <br /> <br />"
