"Josh arrived the morning after my call for service to unclog my kitchen sink. I had exhausted my efforts by using two different plungers to no avail. I was quoted a reasonable price agreeing to the charge. I just felt it was going to be more of a job than either of us thought. I was correct as Josh snaked and augured the drain pipes without success. Moving to a clean out he worked revealing a grease plug. To move it required air and water pressure and an acceptable price increase. After about four hours, all blockage was moved along and the drain was open. "Didn't check around for price, but saw one other service provider charged $800, so I didn't do any other checking, figuring that was the going rate. He initially checked out my old water heater (WH), told me it was the gas valve, which is what I surmised. He turned up the temp control and my water temp was good for the days following, but told me there was no guarantee how long it would last. He also did not recommend me spending $300 on fixing the old one due to the age of my WH. At no time did he pressure me into a decision. I gave him the go ahead for a new one, he came back on the following Saturday (which I requested), had the old WH out and new one installed in 1-1/2 hours.
