My main issue was the communications of an issue, I was informed the morning of the day the vehicle was suppose to be off the property. Then there was no projected date for resolving the issue that I could pass on the the new property owner and no lead time to allow me to find other carriers to handle the move. Auto Transport - United Freight Of America did continue to work the issue and a new transport was provided two days later however I found out about that 1 hour before the truck was going to meet me at the property. I had arranged to have an alternate transport occur on Friday just before I got the call however I was able to cancel the Friday transport. The C rating would have been a B if there was more communication and if there was a maybe selection for "would I use them again" I would have selected that."

"I couldn't be happier with the service that I got from RestoreX at every point in the process and highly recommend them! They were professional, honest, and cleaned up after themselves! We had a bad water leak under the kitchen floor, the connection on one of the pipes that had been replaced 5 years earlier had failed and the water from the kitchen sink, dishwasher and washing machine was all accumulating under the kitchen floor. I called RestoreX on a Wednesday at about 4:45pm, they asked for the approximate square footage of the area which I gave them and they gave me an estimate over the phone. They sent a service manager out first thing Thursday morning and he established the damage had gone all the way under the dining room floor. He said they'd be out first thing on Friday to do the work, which they did. On Thursday afternoon they sent me a quote that was within the range they had quoted me over the phone even though the area was larger. The work was completed in about two hours and there was no mess left even though they had to take out all the mud under the floor (the water had luckily dried up because we weren't using the appliances). They left a big fan on the outside of the house attached to the duct in the kitchen until the following Wednesday to dry it up and sealed all the vents around the house. The duct collapsed over the weekend, but when I called on Sunday, someone answered and said they'd be out in the morning to fix it, which they did. Fantastic service, thank you RestoreX!"

"I've reviewed Rick before -- the more we use his service the more we appreciate him!  This time we had a mystery  -- flickering lights, power drops to things like the microwave and other appliances, but breakers (and everything we could test ourselves) looked fine.  We had several contractor friends try to figure out what was wrong, but couldn't pin it down.  One suggestion was it might be a power  problem with  PG&E, but our friend said to get a specialist to scope out the system before we called them.  That meant Rick. <br /> I called him, and he got back to me in the morning.  He sandwiched us in among several emergency calls and arrived exactly when he said he would -- with my tight schedule, that's appreciated.  I met him in front of the house and told him what was happening.  Before we even went inside, he looked up at the weatherhead and said he could see at least one problem -- looked like we might have a burned wire up there.  He went to get his ladder and check. <br /> Moments later, he came down and said we had a badly-deteriorated ground wire that he was going to replace immediately, and that he would come back and replace the other wires as well, since they had probably been there since the house was built in the 50s.  We made sure the computers were shut down and he went up on the roof again. <br /> About an hour later the microwave (which was our most visible symptom) was operating without power drops.  He could have counted the problem solved -- a lot of guys would.  But this morning, he called me and said he still wanted to replace the other wires, and tape them with weather-resistant material, just to make sure. <br /> Between our home and another property of ours, we've used Rick's services eight times now -- for the heating system (as reviewed before), to add security lights, electrify a couple of outbuildings, put in some vent fans, repair some bad wiring, and now this lovely bit of detective work.  Just one more reason Mr. Alves is our go-to guy. <br />"
