"I noticed sewage was starting to back up in my basement, and having had this happen years ago, I knew I needed to tend to it immediately.  Truth be told, I contacted Mr. Rooter accidentally -- thinking I had used their service before.  (I had actually used a service with a similar name.)  I called in the morning when I was at work, and I was told they would be at my property shortly.  I couldn't leave work, but I told them everything was accessible from the yard.
They arrived quickly, got camera images, and called me.  I was told the roots were really bad.  I believe it because I've had issues in the past, and more years had gone by than I realized.  I agreed to the $1,000 for the camera, auger/cable, and hydro-flush.  This seemed pricy, but I needed to get it done.
They called and asked if, while they were there, I wanted my outside hose faucet updated.  I have a very old house, so I agreed.  That was a little over $100.
In the meantime, I was called and informed that a clean-out I had installed 6+ years ago was done with improper materials and without a permit or license.  The poor installation could result in some seriously bad blockage.  I was also informed of a hairline crack in my sewer pipe - something to be addressed in the future.  So, what I had originally thought was a routine clean out was getting worse by the minute.
Due to the potential severity of the situation, I made arrangements to meet with Alex the next day to see the issues for myself.  In this time, I had ample opportunity to do some research, and I began to think I was taken advantage of because of my situation.
When I met with Alex, I addressed this concern.  I was very impressed with his coolheadedness and willingness to go over the costs.  He showed me the price sheet.  While he was there, he put the camera in the pipe twice - once so I could see it and again to record it on a flash drive for my records.  He did not charge me, and he even called the City Sewer and Water Division to have them confirm the issues with my current clean out.
He was extremely helpful... really going above and beyond.  I have yet to schedule the work yet; there is a lot of unfinished business with the previous company (sadly also an Angie's List member).  I want to give them the opportunity to make it right.
Although the prices were, perhaps, higher than some, I appreciated the transparency and professionalism and will feel good about giving them my future business.

"Dublin Plumbing LLC did an outstanding job. They were quick, accurate, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.
Our older home was not properly plumbed under the kitchen sink, which caused issues with water backing up into the right sink from the left sink when the garbage disposal was run. In addition, the sink started draining very slowly. At that point, we contacted Dublin Plumbing LLC, and they promptly came out and provided an estimate for the extensive work that needed to be done to correct the problem.
They were able to schedule our job several days later. They showed up on time. Jim was present on-site to oversee the work most of the time. The installation of the new drain, vent, faucet & garbage disposal all went well.
They were able to access the drain pipes below in the basement by neatly cutting access panels in the back of a built-in cabinet. They replaced the access panels, and they don't look like they were ever cut.
When they discovered that they needed a bigger piece of equipment to clear the clogged drain under the basement floor that the kitchen sink drains into, they promptly scheduled this for early the next morning, and they quickly got that drain cleared.
We also had a clean-out plug stuck in the basement floor for the main line. They drilled it out and replaced it with a new plug.
After all of the work had been completed, Jim followed up with a phone call to make sure we were satisfied.
