"Burt was amazing. Her attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. The job turned out bigger than initially planned, this was because my backyard was in worse shape than it looked. Burt did not complain about the additional time an materials that were needed to complete the job to my satisfaction. The brick and cement that Burt cleaned look like new. She did a wonderful job. I would recommend her without any hesitation."

"The quality of Mike's work was decent. The price was fair. My advice: if you use Mike be sure to HOLD BACK PAYMENT until all work is complete. Details: resurfacing project for kitchen cabinets, total project ~$10k. Mike resurfaced as well as converted a few cabinets to a better configuration for our needs. He reinforced a few shelves too. I was and continue to be happy with the work. However, there were three things that were never completed, and I wish I had held back payment. He never returned to complete the work, despite following up for months. 1) hinge hardware for several doors is of the wrong type and interferes with use of the cabinets. the fix is to replace the hinges on about 6 of the cabinets. 2) holes were put in the wall to provide room for the wrong hinges. these holes were filled in a completely unprofessional way. when you open the cabinets it is glaring and looks terrible. this is the cabinet where we store plates for dinner, so I am reminded every night. the fix is to fill, sand, and paint these holes AND replace the hinges. 3) he drilled a hole for a door pull in the wrong location. He filled the hole but it's obvious and in a highly visible location. the fix is to replace the door. mike said he ordered but never came by to replace. 4) for a large pantry door, it is clearly visible that screws to mount the door were too long and are pushing out from under the finished surface, again a highly visible location. the fix is to replace the door. mike said he ordered but never came by to replace."

interior painting:\n\nTo do interior painting the right way takes skilled and careful people, top quality materials and great colors. In short, high quality interior painting is a job for a professional. Before you get estimates you should give careful thought to the project and the expectations you have for the results. Here are some questions you need to consider:\n\n\nQuestions to Ask Yourself\n \n\nWhat the goal is for the painting project? Is it decorative or just a quick clean up? Are you painting to live in the house or are you painting to sell it? The goal you have will guide you to answering the other questions.\nWhat areas will be painted?\nAre the ceilings to be painted, or just the walls?\nWhat about closet or cabinet interiors?\nWill the windows, doors and other trim be painted?\nWhat is the condition of the current work? Will cosmetic repairs such as caulking and patching be needed? How perfect do you want the repairs to be?\nWhat is on the walls now? If it's wood paneling, the walls must be primed. If it's wallpaper, usually it's best to remove it, wash the walls and prime them before repainting.\nWhat quality of paint do you want to use? There can be a big difference in grades of paint.\nIs there a brand of paint you prefer to use?\nDo you prefer oil base or latex paint for the trim? Not all painters can or will use oil base paint.\nIs there oil base or latex paint on the trim now? (Remember that oil base paint can usually be applied over existing latex paint, but the reverse isn't true in most cases unless the surface is primed.)\nWhat sheen of paint do you want for the trim?\nWhat sheen do you want for the ceiling and walls?\nAre there practical considerations for choosing the type and sheen of paint, such as the need for it to be washable?\nWill there be a color change? If so, priming and two finish coats may be needed.\nDo you want to use different colors on the ceiling and walls?\nDo you need help choosing colors?\nWhat are your expectations for removing door handles, knobs, hinges, light fixtures, switch plates and plug plates before painting?\nAre your rooms crowded with furniture and accessories?\nWill you want help removing things and preparing the room for painting?\nWill you want help putting things back?\nWhat are your standards for clean up, both daily and at the end of the job?\nWill you want a supply of paint for touch-ups?\nWhat is your timetable for doing the work?\n \n\nPainting that is well done protects your home, adds to its value and greatly increases the enjoyment of living there. No holidays or missed areas, no drips, runs or sags in the finished work. No obvious brush or roller marks.\nThorough cleaning at the end of the project.\nWritten specifications of the materials that were used in each room, including any special color formulas.\nAppropriately labeled touch up paint(s).\n\n Labor usually represents 75-80% of the total cost, and with quality painting you're paying for the time needed to do the work correctly and professionally. \n\n\n 1-5 employees. Complete interior & Exterior Painting-Home Improvement,All Phases.

"The work they did was ok. But they didn’t respond to 6 phone messages. I went to the location 2x to try and get answers but nobody was there. On my 3rd visit finally Rick was there. But they never did meet the agreed-upon deadline so the gift I was giving someone for their birthday was late."
