"I will definitely recommend Tyler. Being this was his first complete pole barn build, it turned out excellent. 36' x 63' x 14' high. I had set the poles previously and discovered that my math is not as good as it used to be. I helped some but we had to reset the posts, and everything was down to 1/16". It really made a difference when it came time to build the barn. Very trustworthy and always came out when he said he would. Top tier carpenter you won't regret!"

I have to share my 1st attempt on hiring the right guy for this project. It consisted of me getting a couple recommended contractors from others and thought I was good. Instead it was terrible, to the point where we mutually agreed it was best for them to remove the decking and poorly installed addition and walk away. Naturally I cautiously interviewed several more deck builders before deciding on MN Construction.
From the 1st call, Trevor impressed me. He made time out of his busy schedule to stop by or take my calls. He gave me an clear overview, answered questions and concerns from the last guy's work, explained why when asked, left samples, etc. He suggested deferent designs and product over others and why, building my confidence quickly. After we traded a few emails/texts, my decision to go with MN Construction was an easy one.
During the project, with a crew of 3, progress was made quickly. They were efficient, hard working, and asked questions when needed. The results are more than we expected to get because of his recommendations and I know our deck with last longer because of the quality of work/product they used. When I'd point out this or that, boom done, and better than expected. After interviewing several and hiring a couple, it's hard to find guys like this out there. You can bet they will be getting another call from me on other remodel work and I have already passed their name on.

"Sky was punctual, friendly and fair. He helped remove an old, defective storm door lockset, as I was unable to do so due to a stripped screw head. He expertly used a grinder so he could back it out w/ a flat head screwdriver. He also installed a "build-a-branch" contraption in a tree. Because the replacement lockset for the above mentioned door wouldn't fit, he assisted me with installing an "aerial hoop" swing on the "build a branch" for my two 8 year old children to enjoy."

"Excellent. The quality of A & M’s work is incredible. And unlike many contractors, they are very responsive; they tell you when they will show up, give you a realistic schedule and stick to it. In addition, they find creative solutions to meet your design goals. A few other bidders suggested that under deck water proofing couldn’t be done in the space that we wanted. "Wanted to wait to see how things settled/ weathered, prior to writing a review.   They were very nice and professional, cleaned the edges of the driveway, and put a thin layer of sealant on.  Looked great at first, but over time (six months ) wore down  .... maybe it needs to be an annual thing, or they should put two coats on.

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.

"My husband and I could not have imagined this project going any better with any other contractor. Roger and his team were attentive to what our requests and needs were. They cared about us as home owners and made strides to help us through this construction (we have 4 kids, so keeping our laundry up and running was essential to maintaining sanity in the household). Every step of the way, we felt secure that it was being done with quality and correctly. There was never a moment of question of whether or not something was being completed in the right way. As with any major construction project, there were unknowns we encountered along the way, but Roger was prepared and communicated everything clearly and quickly to us. Our end product was nothing short of amazing. Not only did we end up with an updated kitchen and a new laundry/mudroom addition, we wouldn't go back and change a thing. Everything is perfect, from the layout to the paint on the walls. And, the price wasn't outrageous for what we received. It was in line with the workmanship and quality of the work which was done. When embarking on a project this large and with a large investment, you have to have 100% confidence in the people doing the work. We are definitely going to use Roger with Plumbline Builders again."

"We contracted with Fair and Square back in April to complete a living room addition to our existing home and are happy we did. We loved working with our project manager Sam. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, foresaw things we didn’t and guided us through the entire project. She was always there to answer our questions and address our concerns and made us feel like we were in good hands. We envisioned a beautiful fireplace as the centerpiece for the room and the work Fair and Square did on the stone surround and Columbia wood flooring turned out even better than we hoped. "I think the finishing around the window could've been a little bit nicer. Our basement isn't really finished. It still the brick wall, cement wall.It just seems like it could've been finished off more than it was. They were quick. I didn't see a lot of debris or anything. I know sawing through cement can be messy but they seemed to be very clean and efficient. They were out here pretty quick. We checked around and they were very reasonable."
