"John Myles was on time to install a new garage door opener. He was knowledgeable of the product being installed and efficient. The opener and accessories were of good quality. He also installed a new bottom seal on the garage door. All work was performed at the price quoted with the only additional cost being new seal."

"Precision Door did a good, quick, and thoroughly professional job installing a new garage door. They were quite knowledgeable."

"I didn't know what was wrong with my door and the opener...but Trevor had it figured out right away. Very knowledgeable and was able to explain to me Exactly what was needed in easily understandable terms. It didn't cost anywhere near what I was thinking or what other service companies had been quoting! Very respectful and accomedating...Trevor treated the situation like it was his top priority, and even warranties Countyline's workmanship and labor. We were very pleased and I have already recommended them to friends and family."

"Very professional service and a good choice in the Guardian opener. I highly recommend Renner!"

"The service technician did a very efficient job of analyzing the problem and replacing the defective opener. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was very happy and satisfied with the service from Julian and Diamond Garage doors."

"service provider sent by American Home Shield was excellent. The only issue I have with home warranty services is that they do not send their repair companies out on the week-end, even in an emergency. The customer service personnel is less than enthusiastic or helpful."

"They tried to make the existing system respond to remotes before installing a new system. When that didn't work they installed the new opener and had me test it several days before billing. They are efficient and thorough in their work. I Will call them should I have any problems with my other garage door. Their price was considerably lower than the others."

"On one hand, Artown was very good about securing a payment from the insurance company--the insurance company denied our hail damage claim initially, but Artown went to bat for us (we clearly had hail damage) and got us a new roof. They did a good job communicating with the insurance company for us. For that, I am grateful.
From there, things went more sour. The installation of the roof went OK. We have an old house with some tight corners near dormers, and they didn't really catch the seams flush so there is a bit of warping on the shingles (minor issue). The work crew only had one person that spoke (choppy) English, which made communication difficult when a small issue arose during roofing, but everyone was professional and worked hard.
When I contacted Artown about a few small gaps in the roof near tight spots, it took forever to get someone out to check it, and when he came, I was not impressed with his professionalism (though he was very friendly). He said the issues were due to construction of our old house, which is possible, but I was not totally sure it was true. Our home inspection from the previous year mentioned no such thing. I got the sense there were issues of communication in the company, which were strengthened by the questionable way the needed repairs were discussed. After promising to come by early the next day and do the repairs for cash (off the company books?), he never showed.
I'm going to call the company today and report the strange behavior of the warranty/inspection person. Overall though, I feel I've had enough experience with Artown to recommend you go with someone else.
