I had some stone stairs leading to my patio; after I added a wrought iron handle railing, the stones where the railing posts were anchored all cracked and started to break off. I called ANG and he quoted me a fair price, suggested better materials to prevent cracking in the future, and kept aesthetics in mind so the stairs blended in well with the rest of the stone patio. "I've hired Iljazi Masonry for two different jobs now because I've been so happy with their work. First we tore down our rotting deck, and had them install a bluestone patio. They laid a thick cement foundation so that I will never have weeds grow through between the stone and took care in cutting the stone and placing it so as not to be wasteful and so the pieces went together without looking too symmetrical. I wish I had done this years ago...one of the best investments I've made. Then I hired them again to repair/rebuild two stone pillars at the bottom of my driveway. They are super solid now and I expect them to last for years. I am definitely keeping them in mind for my next project when I am ready. "I've got a 112 year old hose that is pretty solid, but it had a cracked floor joist and part of the flooring wasn't properly supported. I hired Kristian and his team to install a couple of lally columns to support a carrying beam and sister a couple of floor joists. Many contractors wouldn't even return my call because I wasn't looking to complete a huge remodel job, but Kristian came over, gave me a fair verbal estimate on the spot, and worked with me on timing to complete the project. Not only that, but the solution wasn't overly complicated. The job was straightforward, completed exactly as described in the time described, and there was no scope creep. "Perez Paving Company deserves more than a five-star review. The last time I had my driveway paved by another company, they simply removed the old asphalt and repaved it. Within three to five years, the driveway had cracked and developed sinkholes. Perez did much more than remove the old asphalt. They also removed the old fill, replaced it with processed stone, and carefully checked the driveway’s pitch with a level as they worked. For example, they made sure the surface would drain properly instead of leaving low spots where water could collect. They followed through on everything they promised—and even exceeded expectations. They said they would remove the old asphalt and fill, add processed stone, apply at least three inches of asphalt, and compress it to about two and a half inches. These extra steps showed they were focused on building a durable driveway, not just covering up the old surface. They did a tremendous job and were professional, polite, and detail-oriented throughout."
