Midway through the repair, they did ask to meet with me to recommend fully replacing all bars, springs, cables and tracks (for about $1600-$1800), but I declined as I was not ready to make that large a decision and may want to change the garage door in the future. There was a bit of back and forth on whether they would tighten the springs which were insufficiently wound, but they did in the end. I would work with them again. I'd prefer full discussion on what they can do to finish the requested job first."
