The $500 is an approximate amount as they are sending me a corrected invoice. We thought they would have to replace tiles in each bathroom after my plumber had put in new vanities but did not, so the first estimate is being lowered. I gave a "good" rating (as opposed to "excellent" rating) on the price because I don't know what the finished total will be. I'm guessing they'll charge the going rate for a professional handyman.
I had read on Angie's List that communication was some times a issue but I did not experience that AT ALL. We did the majority of our communication through e-mail and they always answered my e-mails promptly. I had to juggle the dates for them to come because of other work being done and they went with the flow.

"Wayne and his crew did a spectacular job, at a very fair price. What began as a simple dryer vent job, became a critically important HVAC-related repair, after his willingness to check on our mold and odor issue from our primary air conditioning unit. Net/net: He discovered our problem was with mold and retained water in flex duct work that had not been properly checked and cleaned. He provided us with a comprehensive quote, and quickly got us on his schedule, even though it meant they had to work on a Saturday. He and his crew arrived on time (in fact, 15 minutes before promised) and in one day changed out all duct work. He also returned to our home the next week, to verify everything was properly installed and working, and "tweaked" a few ducts that needed adjustments. We had several people bid on the job but Andy had the best plan for cleanup. He sent a man to pressure wash afterward. The work was done well, I was going to show the cleanup guy a few defects but he repaired what I found before I spoke to him.
