I made an appointment for the installation and Steve and his colleague, Dave, arrived on the appointed day and time on schedule. They assessed the work and came up with a plan of attack and got straight to work. It took them a total of 2 hours to install, wire and test the power going from my generator to the new switch and all the items I wanted to hook up for power. <br /> They even took a look and fixed a loose wire in a bathroom fixture for free. <br /> Steven was very good about explaining what I needed to do to use the switch, what issues to watch out for and maintenance tips for my generator. Josh took all the time needed to make sure everything was completed successfully. As part of his very thorough service, Josh examined the aging circuit breaker to make sure there were no dangerous possibilities. When he showed me the melted and discolored surfaces, I asked that the box be replaced. That work was done very promptly and extremely well. I would highly recommend Malone Electric Solutions. "On June 10, I had a company to install security equipment in my home. In doing so, the installer drilled through a wire and I did not have electricity in several outlets due to the damage. Since the company did not have an electrician on staff and was unable to refer me to anyone, I turned to Angie’s List for help in finding someone to correct the problem. I called Hands on Electric on June 11 and spoke to the owner, Kevin Williams. I explained my problem to Mr. Williams and he gave me a window of time in which he would be able to come out. Not only was he able to come out the same day that I called, but Mr. Williams was able to come much earlier than expected. Once he arrived he was able to trouble shoot and diagnose the problem. Mr. Williams was very, very friendly, professional and honest. He was able to answer my husband’s questions and explained what he was doing as he made the repairs. My husband was very happy about that and we were both impressed by the years of experience Mr. Williams had for his age. "Owner Matthew Conde responded immediately to Home Advisor entry: furnace stopped working on Halloween night, with asthma resident in the house. My (former) contractor was booked all weekend, but Matthew came within a few hours! He diagnosed furnace and found that fan motor was shot: presented option of replacing it or furnace itself. Since furnace was 18 years old, I went with new Carrier Infinity furnace which was installed 3 days later. Great relief, after 3 days of portable heaters! Matthew, Jason and Kenny (installers) were exceptionally professional, personable, experienced and knowledgeable. They explained everything to our satisfaction, including use of smart thermostat. After installers had left, we noticed that green light on air filter wouldn't come on. Matthew came over that evening, checked out furnace to his satisfaction, and found that there was no power to nearby outlet plug, After rewiring outlet, media air filter was working again!
