"It was not a foundation issue. Chris came and walked through all the locations which would’ve caused the dampness as a part of the free estimation and help me find the issue."

"<p>We called him 6 months ahead and told him we wanted the work done in fall. He came out, measured, and gave us an estimate that was in our price range. We were put back 2 weeks because of work they were doing, but he called and explained delay. They came out on time, explained everything they were doing, and went to work. This is a family owned business that knows their stuff.</p> <p>Our driveway is beautiful! Mr Renfro is great with detail and is a perfectionist. We decide to put aggregate on the sides and we got several compliments on the driveway and how unique it looks! The driveway itself is concrete. They also fixed my problem with water laying in a dip in the driveway. Mr. Renfro also told us how to seal the driveway and the aggregate.</p> <p>I highly recommend this company. We have no complaints at all and I will refer him to friends.</p>"

"I had a good experience with A1. They came out to my house for the estimate within a few days of my request. Within three weeks they called and scheduled the work the next day. The crew showed up on time and got right to work. Within 4 hours the job was complete and I was very impressed, it was better than I expected. The side walk looks great, I could hardly tell that the work had been done and the crew cleaned up everything. I had one issue with the invoice, but it was cleared up in a few hours. I would recommend A1 and would use them again."

"I’m incredibly impressed with Jaco Waterproofing. I had a number of structural maintenance issues I needed addressed after a home buying inspection revealed some problem areas. They didn’t miss a single thing in the engineer’s report. The guys were incredibly efficient. Everything was finished in a day and half. There was no delay or half finished job and minimal impact to my yard when it came to installing the piers under the front porch steps. Just had to re-lay some flower bed bricks and shift some displaced flowerbed dirt. They were as neat and careful as possible, and offered effective solutions that were financially reasonable. I would call them again in a heartbeat for structural and waterproofing needs. They earned my trust and future business. Thank you for your excellent work Jaco!"

"It went great! They were very professional and were here when they said they would be and cleaned up behind themselves. We did have a minor leakage problem with the first rain, but we called and they were back here within a couple of days to fix the problem and we have had no leakage since. I was impressed that they handled the call back so quickly, which to me, says a lot about their integrity. The company that did our original waterproofing has left Kentucky and our "lifetime" transferable warranty is now void, so having been burned once we were a bit leery, but they proved to be a very reliable company. Would not hesitate to recommend or use them again."

"I found them on Angie's List. They were very responsive and called me back right away. They were busy and sent someone out within a week or so. He looked at our property, we had some steps that were eroding and we don't need their services at all. He suggested getting a general contractor and rerouting the water away from our house, the drainage. It was good. It was just an estimate, so there wasn't a charge. Since he couldn't see anything that they could do, then there was no charge. He was very helpful and honest. He was very knowledgeable and I felt he knew what he was talking about. I appreciated that he didn't try to do a service that we didn't need. They got very high reviews."

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Mount-saint-francis, IN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
