The scope of work included a new furnace and heat pump; adding 25 recessed lights; wiring power to the outside for sconces and floodlights; moving and adding outlets throughout the home, and adding whole-home surge protection. During the project, Blake would check in regularly to make sure we were on the same page. He did not leave any details to chance, and it shows in the fit and finish of each light he and Steven installed. We had been forewarned of significant drywall repairs given that many of the recessed lights would be installed in vaulted ceilings where access is limited. Ingeniously, Blake and Steven found a way to shimmy between the joists and rafters and install the lights without damaging the ceiling, saving us hundreds in drywall repair costs. Cody, who oversaw the heat pump installation, brought a ton of experience working with the city, allowing us to optimize the placement of the heat pump to minimize noise while complying with Seattle's codes. For future projects, we would hire Seatown again without hesitation."

"Thorough site visit for quote. Very responsive to questions and changes in options and revised quotes. G&S provided our lowest quote, but it was still more than we expected, thus a Good rating on price instead of Excellent. I think the quote for the additional duct work was high. The survey before installation was also thorough and I was able to have a say in the electrical and the return air duct design. A great crew of five or more showed up for the main day of installation. Two worked on additional ducting, an electrician, a couple on the outside unit, and one or more on the garage gas furnace and A/C coils. I was not able to watch all the installation work and I was surprised at how the outside unit was oriented. However, when I requested it to be re-worked, they didn't hesitate at all and I was pleased with the result. Because of the responsiveness and resolution, they earned excellent quality and professionalism ratings."

"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

"The job was done, but the whole experience was negative. Starting with small mistakes made every step of the process, finishing with company bad attitude. Customer satisfaction is not on their agenda. Small mistakes started with their truck arriving at the neighbor's house, inaccurate scheduling, drilling a hole for electric cord in the wrong spot, leaving crawl space wide open, installing the wrong size pipe for the new stove. I had to hire a handyman who finally found the right segment of pipe to replace what they put out into my kitchen. The worst part for me was the manager's attitude at the end. They are too busy to care for their workers better training or customer satisfaction."
