"Jeff Whittington, the company president, provided the estimate himself. He did a thorough job up-front, identifying everything that needed to be done. This started out to be a relatively small piece of work, but the team realized right away that the grout had failed relative to one of three types of tile we'd had installed through Home Depot. The grout for the other two types of tile were fine. Jeff took pictures and video clips as the About Grout team worked on the tile where the grout had failed, in order to document the problem, and to provide evidence that could be used to show Home Depot that the original installation was faulty. Jeff also wrote a letter, documenting the problem and recommending that I contact Home Depot management, to request compensation. Jeff also provided a document that described the various possible causes for failed grout. Unfortunately, Home Depot's warranty for workmanship was only valid for 1 year, and discovery of the problem occurred about 20 months after installation of the tile was completed. So, I was stuck with the cost of removing and replacing the grout in this one area. However, I felt that Jeff went out of his way to explain and demonstrate the problem to me, as well as providing recorded evidence in the form of pictures and video clips. So, this was not just trickery. In addition to writing a letter, Jeff also called me, and offered advice on how to approach Home Depot. And, although Home Depot would not budge on their warranty, I felt that Jeff had gone above and beyond the call, to try and help me. The work that About Grout does is not cheap, but I felt that the work was done in a professional and quality way. As is often the case, you get what you pay for. I would not hesitate to call on the About Grout team again for future tile projects."

"I went to their website and requested a quote to clean and seal my shower.  I gave dimensions and sent photos.  Sound Tile and Grout responded with a quote that was over twice what I expected but I'll admit I really didn't know what it would cost.  I needed the work done and after seeing their positive reviews on Angie's List I decided to bite-the-bullet and get it done.  I am very glad that I did.  Chad & Zack arrived on time and after letting me know what they were going to do they went right to work.  They were clean-cut, well mannered, and very professional.  High quality materials were used.  They did an outstanding job and I am very happy I spent the money.  My shower hasn't looked this good since it was new.  If you need the work done, go with Sound Tile & Grout."
