"We hired the Company to paint our Foyer and upstairs hall area. We received an estimate for both one coat application and a quote for a second coat if needed. Before the job started the Company was very responsive to all requests or questions. The company showed up right on time on the scheduled day for the job to begin. We left the house in the morning and returned home to a completed job. The Company informed us they thought only one coat of paint was needed and asked us to review the work which was performed to see if we agreed. We reviewed the work and it looked great and we were in agreement that the one coat of paint was sufficient. The Company was very clean and cleaned up everything before we arrived home. Other than the newly painted Foyer there was no trace they were even there. Very clean, friendly and professional. "Everyone I have hired from Angie's List so far (after reading several favorable reviews beforehand) have turned out to be great, but the people at Rochester Fireplace Inc. (from saleswoman to owner to installers) were especially wonderful to work with. Their work was efficient and meticulous, and even though they had to go through my finished basement ceiling to install the lines, when they were finished, you never would have known they had been there. Everyone was so personable and friendly, and, on more than one occasion, they very patiently answered my questions over the phone when I (an insert newbie) wanted clarification on how certain things worked, etc. I was given a discount for paying in full rather than financing. One point that REALLY impressed me was when I called the shots on how high I wanted the black metal backing to go. I chose to go higher, because I had some soot stains that I wasn't sure could be removed, so I wanted them covered. They followed my directive, but after 3 days of looking at it, I decided that I wanted it lowered by at least 3 inches, to expose more brick (taking the chance that I would be able to remove the stains afterwards). Not only did they come out within a day to make the adjustment, they didn't charge me for the alteration, even though the 'error' was mine. Now that's what I call service! I can't speak highly enough of these people. Their follow-up was incredible, all their employees were very friendly and accommodating, and above all they did excellent work. By the way, I was able to remove the soot stains, and I absolutely love my finished product! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a gas fireplace insert."

The salesman even came here and show me the cover of where the pool would lay. I think they're all long-term employees and they send the same guys out and they take care of everything. They're like a family, the bunch of them that work together for years, and some of them are family.
