"We decided to replace the tired carpet in our condo. United Carpet was our second stop in search of solid vinyl wood plank flooring. We were fortunate to meet Art McLeod, who showed us a vast array of options, We settled on Karndeen and found one we though would go well next to the existing parquet wood flooring in the rest of the condo. He urged us to take a sample home, and we were glad he did, for our sense of the color match was way off. When we returned he shows us what he thought would work. He "right" sold us, (others had tried to get us to take a more expensive product than we needed or wanted) offering us a product a bit less expensive than what we picked, but he assured us it was of equal quality and better for our application, over a concrete floor (we live an a converted 1903 schoolhouse). His selection was right on the money. He kept us apprised of the order and delivery dates and set up an install date based on our availability. His install crew, Jim and Bob arrived on time, calling ahead. Unfortunately they discovered the concrete under the carpet had heaves and cracks and would require leveling. They were craftsmen and did the job carefully and completely. A one day install dragging into four days, but we didn't mind, because we knew the job would be done well and right. They went out of their way to accommodate us in timing of arrival, and always kept us apprised of any need for them to briefly engage in a repair or other activity. They were not going to leave until the job was done perfectly, and they held to that promise. They were pleasant, respectful, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the product, with the installation and our entire experience with United Carpet has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough."

"The roof of the front porch had a large damaged spot due to a prior water leak. <br /> I have contracted Key painting to paint my house and prior to that they did a nice thorough inspection of the condition of the wood. <br /> We had a good discussion on how to fix the ceiling and decided to replace it since this is a very old house and the wood slats the ceiling was constructed from is not available. <br /> Key painting suggested replacing with wainscoting to which I agreed.  Key painting purchased the materials and work was done on a time and materials basis with a down payment . <br /> Communication was very good with phone calls setting up the time for the repair.The repair work was done by 2 people in a very efficient, courteous manner.  William Key, the business owner, stopped by multiple times to check the work.  <br /> The resultant ceiling came out very nice excluding some touch-up work that will be finished  when the house is painted <br /> Overall I had a excellent experience and look forward to the seeing how the house painting comes out in June. <br /> <br />"

"Dave did a great job. We were very impressed by his quality of work and honesty. We had an issue with the dishwasher not fitting correctly under our counter and he actually took the time to call the company we purchased it from to have it replaced. Way above what was required of him! The new plumbing for the second bathroom is ten times better than whats in the old bathroom. We plan on having him out again when we remodel the older bathroom and to install a sump pump backup."
