"After researching the big box stores as well as several other kitchen remodelers, we were thrilled to have found Jim at Trademark. From the very beginning of the project, Jim worked with us to design a functional space with all of the items on our wish list. He shared his experience and knowledge while listening to our ideas. We went through several iterations before arriving at the final plan, and Jim was patient and helpful throughout. Jim was very flexible with the construction schedule, making it easy for us to coordinate with other professionals for the project (such as the floor refinishers), as well as allowed for us to do our own demo, painting, and other prep work to lower costs. Jim and his team built and installed cabinets, completed electrical work for new lighting, installed venting for the stove hood, and completed various trim work, including window trim. He recommended and coordinated with a granite company that was very reasonably priced and had terrific selection. He also used reclaimed wood that we supplied to refinish an unsightly beam in the kitchen, and called upon a local blacksmith for custom accents, turning the once dismal beam into a beautiful focal point. The custom cabinets Jim built and installed are of very high quality, and are exactly what we asked for. His attention to detail and finishing work is hard to find in today's world. I really can't say enough about the quality of the kitchen and our satisfaction with his work. And when comparing the finished product and price to what we would've paid elsewhere for a lesser quality product, it makes everything even better!"
