"I have used Home Comfort on prior occasions to service my old furnace - they had replaced the capacitors and the main blower fan but on the most recent issue, the secondary fan went out. Rather than have it repaired (and seeing the number of repairs increasing each year), I decided it was time to replace the old furnace with a new one. I got a quote from Home Comfort for a new American Standard Gas Furnace with a 95% efficiency - it was scheduled for a Saturday. The serviceman was at my house at the time scheduled and had the entire work completed in about 4-5 hours. He was helped whenever necessary by an additional helper. They took the old furnace out and disposed of it and got rid of the packing material that the new furnace came with. It has been about 2 weeks now since the furnace was replaced and I have had no issues with the new furnace at all - it was done right the first time around. I would have no hesitation recommending this company for repairs and installation of HVAC systems."

I called the company who had last serviced our A/C only to find out they no longer serviced our area so I came to Angie's List to find an alternative. We'd used Lifeline in the past for a shower repair that we were really happy with so I sent an email asking for the soonest appointment during normal business hours. Within 15 minutes we received a phone call that the tech could come out on a Saturday at no additional charge. The diagnostic fee was $79 but would be applied toward the repair if we chose to do it the same day. The technician arrived in the time frame specified, took a look at the A/C and gave us an estimate. It was a reasonable estimate so we proceeded with the work. He completed the repair and inspected the rest of the A/C system. He told us that we could purchase a maintenance plan (which I already had read about on their website) as well."

That was a much less expensive repair or fix vs. replacing the whole equipment. I appreciated his honesty, time spent communicating the issue with me and professionalism.
