"Allen and his crew arrived actually a few minutes early to begin work.  Our condominium storage room was a disaster after the massive floods of April 29, 2014.  They removed all tools, boxes of lighting and landscaping supplies, extra fence rails and lumber, and metal shingles from the room and began work.  They installed metal shelving  on 2 walls, installed tool and ladder hanging equipment throughout, and they also built a wooden frame hanging from the ceiling and back wall to hold odd pieces of lumber, replacement 8-foot fence rails and the like.  They re-placed all our items in the new storage room in a very organized and user-friendly fashion. They constructed a 1-1/4" high support system to hold metal shingles, getting them off the concrete floor and out of the way.  They hung metal shelving in our electrical room for more storage.  They made excellent use of much previously wasted space.
These gentlemen worked steady and very hard in 100+ degree heat, did an exceptional job for us in just over 5 hours.  Did I mention that the cost actually came in more than $50 under budget?!!  (Allen's quote was very fair to begin with!)  We are very pleased with Allen and his team, and will definitely call on them for future projects. "Randall and Aimee were great to work with, and their crew did an outstanding job on two fronts.  I first had them replace and repair a roof for a small rental house that we own in Mobile.  The tenant had complained of leaking during the heavy rains we had in May, 2014.  They were prompt to respond to my request for a quote, and originally gave a time estimate of 10 days to two weeks to start, since the recent weather (and positive Angie's List recommendations) had given them plenty of recent business.  A few days later, I got a call from Aimee, "pick a color - we're going to do your job tomorrow, and we're picking up materials today!" We were so impressed with the work, we had them give me a quote on our residence in Foley.  The roof was overdue for replacement, and there was some rot in some of the fascia and eaves.  They bid the roof and fascia repair for a very reasonable amount, and work began promptly within about 10 days - still under their "two week" estimate.  They had stated that the job would take "about two and a half days", but by the end of the first day when I looked at the house with all of the fascia pulled off and the roof stripped, I though "no way are they going to get done on time!"  I was wrong - they were done exactly as soon as Randall said they would be.  The repairs were swift, complete, and fully up-to-code requirements for Baldwin County.  Best of all, it looks FANTASTIC!  Their crew was thorough, professional, courteous, and took care to inconvenience us as little as possible.

I took advantage of a coupon offered by the contractor to have a new ceiling fan installed for $74.00 which was a good value, since price quotes I had received for the job from other contractors ranged from $100.00 to $200.00. 

I received a email from the owner, Sam Shorrosh, within hours of purchasing the coupon.  He was professional and articulate and scheduled a appointment within 48 hours; not for lack of work but because he was willing to come after hours on a weekend to complete the job as soon as possible if I was agreeable,

Sam Shorrosh, called prior to the appointment to confirm and arrived on time.  He wore a shirt clearly identifying the name of his company, "Help Around The House", and was clean, neat, and professional.

Before removing the existing fan Sam, after a quick inspection, ask if I would prefer the existing fan to be repaired if possible or just replaced with the new fan I already had on hand?  Since the fan was relatively new, just out of warranty, I opted for the repair.  Within thirty minutes he had made the necessary repairs to the fan saving me $180.00, the cost of the new fan.

Since I purchased a coupon to have a fan installed I did not take note of the name of his business until he actually arrived, assuming he must be an electrician.  I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he and his contractors are much more than electricians, as the business name suggest "Help Around The House", they can complete most any job a homeowner would need to accomplish around the house.

I have already ask Sam to give me quotes on a few odds and ends I need completed around the house and would certainly recommend him to family and friends.
