Brian provided a fair estimate, and then completed the work with expedience. He also agreed to replace an aging water intake valve requiring coordinating his efforts with a water company team charged with locating, and shutting down the water supply at the street level. I soon thereafter hired Brian to install a bathroom vanity and faucet for a second bathroom. This time the Amazon purchased faucet turned out defective. Brian quickly ordered a similar faucet from Bender Plumbing of Bridgeport where he is entitled to 33% discount; this helped to keep the cost very reasonable. One week later I called upon Brian to replace my aging hot water tank with a Benders Plumbing provided quality tank. During the installations I felt comfortable leaving Brian alone in my semi upscale home, as I needed to exit the house to run errands. Several weeks following his work I conclude that the plumbing upgrades were one of the more valuable investments I have made for my home. I recommend Brian to anyone seeking quality work at a reasonable price, and suggest having him purchase needed plumbing hardware, as he commands a significant discount from area plumbing vendors."

"I called TC plumbing after a disastrous ice storm and cold snap (95% of my town was without power at least two days w/ wind-chills of -20 degrees, and many nearby towns were also hard-hit). Tony responded promptly by telephone, and that night he and his crew found and repaired 6 burst heating pipes in baseboards and between floors. The men were all friendly, professional, and efficient, and they did their best to minimize water damage when testing the heating system. They kept drywall cutting as small as possible, and they cleaned up their work-sites. I found the price fair, particularly given that three plumbers worked for three hours of overtime, and they started working as soon as they came in the door. The fact that they came the same day because it was an emergency was PRICELESS. "They came out on a weekend and we're our saving grace during one of the most frustrating experiences we've had in this house. We couldn't use any plumbing without flooding the basement with sewage, it was early stay at home days, and we felt like we would go mad. They showed up and gave us an price for replacing the broken pipe, and set in to work. They worked for the entire weekend essentially, staying extremely late at night and showing up early the next morning, and at one point driving far out at night to get supplies since their usual local place was closed (again, quarantine time) . The reason it took so long was because after opening up the floor to get to the end of the pipe to replace it they found more damaged pipes, and replaced those as well. By the end of it they had spent the entire weekend on a job they expected to only last an afternoon, had charged us not nearly enough for the amount of work they did, and fixed a leaking bidet we had for free for good measure. They also advised us to do camera scan to look for any other problems, which they couldn't do until the water drained out, and even did an initial mop of the basement (which, remember, sewage flooding). I'm honestly half convinced these people are magic helpful brownies or something, it's unreal how helpful they were! Somehow our drier which has not succeeded in drying clothes for over a year has started working in a single cycle since they left, despite the fact they didn't even do anything with it, and in fact specifically said they don't do driers and offered to recommend someone else when we mentioned it. Suffice to say, I cannot recommend them highly enough"

"SILA called to offer their annual heating inspection services given that I was a prior customer. The gentlemen they sent, Ivan, was very knowledgeable and thorough. He went over and above, and spent a lot of time explaining the parts of my boiler to me and likely failure points, gave some recommendations on my aging indirect water tank, and even answered a few questions I had regarding thermostat wiring. He was very patient, and left everything clean and exactly the same was as he had found it. He wore a mask, covered his shoes, and was very respectful. I've used SILA for my annual inspection every year the past five or so years."

"Steve called me within 15 minutes of me placing my request to Angie's list - amazingly quick. He had KP out on a Sunday (even though I didn't need it) within a couple hours. KP tried to repair the bathtub valves on an old bathtub, but they continued to leak by. He replaced the kitchen faucet and sprayer (had it on hand in the truck). Couldn't diagnose the radiator. Steve called me back quickly when I sensed that I was unhappy about the price and explained that KP tried to fix the bathtub valves, but being old couldn't. He did charge for the time and gave me a slight break. We scheduled another appointment and Steve went out of his way to accommodate my schedule - excellent. This time he sent Steve L who turned out to be a real pro. He fixed the valves and helped with my radiator. Service was performed very well. I will call Atomic Rooter again, but will request Steve L. A bit expensive..."
