"Les and his crew created a beautiful rock wall for an area we could not figure out what to do with. They also trimmed, planted and mulched all around our home even adding extra river rock to other areas to enhance our landscape. Great communication, very trustworthy and embraced all the changes we made along the way. We plan to have him back for future jobs."

"We contacted Greg at Omnipro to have pavers added to an existing backyard patio. Greg was great to deal with and his recommendation of which pavers to select was spot on. The work was done timely & the end result exceeded our expectations. The clean up & repair of our yard was also very good. One minor post install issue. Again, Omnipro was very responsive. Highly recommend."

"Brad and his crew at Volant Custom Builders are absolutely amazing! Brad is very knowledgeable, professional and a real pleasure to deal with. His quote was significantly lower than what I got from another very active deck building company in the area. He stayed on top of communicating with me about the schedule (weather is always a factor in his line of work, so adjustments had to be made). His crew of Amish built our great deck in about 3 days: these guys are very skilled, hard-working and considerate. Any questions or observations where promptly answered and addressed. I would enthusiastically recommend Brad and his company."

"Jim Soose was extremely professional and patient in explaining to me what it really took to get the job (hardwood flooring in foyer, kitchen and dining room; ceramic tiles in powder room), and gave me very accurate estimates. The job itself was conducted in a very painstaking and thorough manner, and Jim pays attention to the smallest details. Also, Jim made sure that there was minimal inconvenience to us despite all the construction activities going on. The job site was also cleaned up properly towards the end of the day (This was very important to me, given that i have two small children). I was very highly recommend him."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in New Castle, PA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
