"Here's our neighbors' opinion of our 2017 project with The Mason's Touch: "Remove more trees in your front yard so we can see more of the stonework. It's beautiful" We needed to replace a cracked and tilting concrete porch and the brickwork on the front of the house. Aaron came over a couple times and came up with ideas for new steps, porch and front wall using natural stone that far surpassed our ideas and plans. The demolition involved busting up a solid concrete porch that was as thick as 36" is some places. Other companies shied away from even bidding but Aaron and Jeremy never flinched. In spite of hot, hard work, their dispositions were always respectful, happy and lighthearted which made working with them enjoyable. They worked very well together. Based on Aaron's recommendations, we made a couple of on-the-fly changes, such as types of footings. They worked out perfectly. Also, we really appreciated the option to choose our own custom blend of veneer stone for the wall and one piece, bluestone steps. Aaron's attention to details and his artistic use of small pieces really enhanced the beauty of the stonework. The project was completed about 10 months ago. It's as solid and as beautiful as it was last year. We love it and it surely enhanced the curb appeal of our house far above the cost of the project. We hope to use them again for an interior bathroom project. We give The Mason's Touch our highest recommendation. Cost: $26,000"

"Absolutely amazing! Don and his team do beyond professional and the highest quality work. We built a new home with an unusable backyard because of the severe slope down into a wetland pond. Don created an absolutely beautiful design for our whole yard. It included a rock retaining wall to separate the wetland pond, and provide for a level backyard to entertain and enjoy with. It includes a patio with intricate design, with steps that went down to a lower level gas fire pit area. Planted over 30 trees with wonderful combinations of pine trees, maple and others. Creatively designed perennials, shrubs and bushes throughout the yard, with boulders scattered throughout. He installed lighting to enhance trees and many uplighting spots. We can not even begin to say how much we love our yard, being outdoors all of the time, and nightly fires. We live in a newer development near a walking path, and we get compliments even still and constantly about how beautiful his work was. Don has a gift of design, with attention to detail in everything. His team cleans up every single night. They even swept our city street from any mulch or dirt that may have scattered. His entire team is respectful. Our neighbors actually sought us out to tell us they were impressed with the crew, as they never saw them sitting doing nothing, except to eat lunch. Hard working, great clean up, caring and responsible team and crew. We will be hiring Don for any future projects!"

"Dale, and his staff at Aquatic Rock Formations, is a true professional at installing, repairing, and updating water features. Dale is a problem solver, who is creative and dedicated to doing the job correctly the first time. His extensive experience led him to discover the specific issue with the auto fill on my waterfall on his first visit just three days after contacting him. He immediately telephoned me about the repair, estimated cost, and scheduled the time just a couple of weeks in the future. When an unrelated, unexpected issue was recognized during the repair, he made time in his schedule to return the following day to finish. Then he returned back within two days of the completion to make sure that it operated as expected. It was comforting to be able to reach him when questions arose. The price was both similar to the estimate and fair. I had worked with two other companies regarding the same problem with the auto fill and both were unable to diagnose nor remediate the issue over a four-month time period. I was so impressed by Dale that a number of weeks later, I contacted him about installing lights on the falls. They look fabulous! I plan on using only him for my future projects and highly recommend him for planning, building, repairing, or updating water features."

"We did not have them do the landscaping. It was satisfactory, I didn't have any complaints with them, we just went with another company. They were just fine, and it had nothing to do with them that I didn't choose them. The price was okay too, we just went with someone that had done something for us previously. I may get a bid from them in the future if I need something."

"It was actually a pretty good experience. They had over-billed me and then I made changes. I called them and they adjusted my billing appropriately. It was on the labor charge and had we not had someone home to notice that, we would have ended up paying the full amount. I think that it was kind of interesting because they were there for half the time that they said they would be. But the job that they did at the end was very nice. I had some plants that died and they were not replaceable after years because most nurseries do not warranty perennials. And so therefore, they were not replaceable and I had to go do it myself. The original price that they charged us was $8,000 and with the change in the labor, it was down to $6,500. I will absolutely use them again in the future."

"We called Chad Sparks (owner, C & L Outdoor Design and Landscape) to give us a bid on the implementation/work of a design plan we had previously purchased from another landscape designer. He reviewed our plan, met with us and walked thru the property and talked through our vision and goals. Afterwards he was able to give us some verbal estimates so we had some idea as to how we wanted to proceed. We weren't sure if we wanted to tackle the whole project all at once or do it in phases. We had a very large wooded and weedy side yard that was just a mess so we knew that we wanted to pursue getting the buckthorn and weeds removed and treated right away. So, Chad came out to walk through the yard again and make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to proceed. During this second meeting and walk-thru, Chad gave us another great idea for our yard that wasn't part of the initial design but in truth, it's what we really wanted from the beginning - more yard. The project became much larger in the end, but it truly is the vision we had when we bought the house. We love the wooded lot but there was no usable green space. Now with the help of the designer and C & L, we have a purposeful, usable yard. The changes in the front and side yard transformed the entry into our cul-de-sac too. We had what I called, a "forest" where you couldn't really see our house as you approached the circle, now we have a welcome and and beautiful corner entry. Our backyard was very wooded but was mostly ungraded, and full of buckthorn too. We followed the initial design plan for the most part in the back, putting in a walking path and a "bags" court. I was thoroughly impressed with the installation process Chad used for this. He created a template to hold the gravel path in place and it really makes it look sharp and clean. Chad also recommended leveling out our bonfire pit area and adding a small semi circle of boulders to mirror what we already had  off of our back deck. I'm so glad he had this vision because it really looks nice and it gave us a level spot for chairs when sitting around the fire. It required taking out a decent sized tree that was in the way but by taking it out, it provided a little more sunlight into the back.  <br /> I cannot stress enough how thrilled we are with our newly remodeled yard. We still have lots of trees but we have beautiful green space too. We have gotten so many compliments from our neighbors and strangers that walk by on a regular basis.
