"We found Giant Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling here on Angie's List.  Doug scheduled a convenient time with us to replace our water heater.  He gave us a price ahead of time for his services and did not upcharge for anything.  He arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as friendly.  He was very detailed in explaining everything and even gave advice on other plumbing topics where we had concerns.  The expense of our particular water heater was more than the average electric or gas water heater because we had the power vent model.  Our old water heater was a State brand and we were very satisfied as it lasted us for 12 years, and he replaced it with a new State model, so we were very satisfied with that as well.

"I had put the project off for a long time because I was on sabbatical.  They said it was not a problem and did the job about four or five months later.  They came and did what I asked them to do.  The guy was a little bit hesitant to do it from the inside and wanted to do it from the outside.  I took him downstairs and the place inside. He got the work done.  He got to a point where he said that he saw a problem.  But there was no problem with the sewage flowing through.  I asked them to give me an estimate for what might be their charges.  But I never heard back from them."
