"I had called Andrew previous to the installation because I wanted to know about the new water heater; how well it was insulated, would it heat  cycle  less often than my 30+ year old heater, thus saving gas and would the pilot be easier to light than the old one, which required literally getting down on the cold, basement floor to light it.  All my concerns were answered  with professionalism and respect.
Andy was a very professional person/plumber/installer. He and I had a pleasant conversation throughout the installation process as I learned more about the process and my new water heater.  We even talked about soldering copper pipes, something I learned about doing many years ago, but which there was no need to do thanks to modern plumbing connections.  Watching Andy, who is a strong young man, haul the old water heater up the 9 steps to my garage and out to the truck where he would carry it away for disposal, made me even more thankful I/we had decided to replace it, it must have weighted close to three hundred pounds!
Andy was very professional and cleaned up any and all mess left after the installation, including wiping up spilled water from the pipes off of the new water heater, The install was estimated to take two hours but from arrival to departure took slightly over 90 minutes.  Very efficient.

"Our heating unit stopped working the first evening of continued sub-zero temps this past February. It was a Friday evening and we called two companies, one of which wasn't available, and the other which came and gave a diagnosis. The diagnosis was to replace both the inside and outside units, costing well over $12,000, and we were left to have someone call us on Monday to order parts and to (hopefully) have repaired on Tuesday. This would have left our family with 5 young children in a home with zero heat and sub-zero temps over a 4-day period. We called late Friday, they came out first thing Saturday morning, suggested we start by replacing one part of the inside heat unit first, drove to Fisher's to retrieve the part, replaced it, and by lunch Saturday we had warm air heating our home. "Owner Lee Haas was very professional and precise. He was extremely cautious to make sure that everything that was being ordered was correct. He came daily to make sure everything was proceeding to our liking and his standards. Installers, Doug, Jon, and Mike, were very courteous and took pains to be precise in their craft. They even discovered something that had been installed by the original company that was not to code and potentially dangerous. Tarps and sheets were spread on our floors to prevent accidental damage. A tarp was spread in our garage to collect all the debris; and when they finished in the garage, the entire garage was swept clean! Some stone was ground off on our deck; and when they completed, they took a hose and washed off the entire deck! We are extremely pleased with our new fireplace. And, we are very pleased with Firewater and the way we were treated!"

"John and his assistant repair water damage from an ice dam in my daughter's bedroom. Drywall had to be replaced, primed, painted. They even re hung her closet doors that had been down for months and were not part of the job! They were very thorough in cleaning up after themselves. Very impressed with them! Recommended them to my MIL for a plumbing issue. As a side note-we had another contractor come in and give an estimate for the repairs-$850!!!! John did it for $150. Why? Because he did what was necessary without going to extremes. Example-The other contractor wanted to completely tear out and replace a part of the ceiling that had a water stain about the size of your palm. John sprayed Kilz on it and then painted it. Good as new. I would recommend them to anyone. You will be very happy with John and his work. Honest, fair."
