"CW managed to do about a dozen small jobs around the house that have been piling up for a couple years.  He arrived on time (despite the city's best attempts to detour him), fixed my outdoor fence, latticework, and post for my stairway bannister, tightened some loose cabinetry and the lock to my front door, painted two windowsills, helped move a large and awkward futon from one room to another, and replaced a broken smoke alarm.  He also tracked down an extra alarm that was beeping but wasn't attached to anything!  Evidently the builders had an extra alarm that the never installed and the battery went dead.  It was driving me crazy and I thought I had two broken alarms, but CW discovered the problem and saved me money by returning the extra alarm he purchased.  He worked very efficiently--quick but accurate, and when he needed to cool off inside (it was miserably hot out) he just worked on indoor tasks rather than kicking back and chatting.  Well worth the money, and I have every confidence that he knows what he's doing.  Will definitely call again the next time I have  a list of things to take care of!"

"We had Jones Air & Water come out to install filtration and replace a catalytic core system that we had installed to prevent descaling. In our situation, we had a high volume of Chlorine in the water that you could definitely smell and taste. The catalytic core system, didn't live up to the expectations and we still had to deal with a heavy scale build up noticeable on all of our faucets and with two Rinnai units for on demand hot water that raised concerns about what type of build up we were having on what we couldn't see. Everett came out and was very thorough in testing the water and then explaining a recommended solution. We finally decided on a dual media tank solution that Everett and JD installed that provides us with an efficient way to not only handle the Chlorine issue, but truly conditions the water and we're noticing all of the differences that Everett explained we should see. We are very satisfied with the whole process from the review of what our situation is, the recommended solution, the installation and the end result. "Mike and his crew are very punctual and professional. I am very comfortable sending him a text with what I need and coming home and knowing it was completed properly. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
