"I rarely write reviews but I have to share my happy experience using Home Advisor for the first time. Leo from Berardi Electrical Contractors is great. I hired him to install smart WiFi dimmers for my LED lights so that I could control the lights in my home with voice commands to my Alexa. I had been trying to get an electrician to do the job for months using my network of family and friends to find someone, but I had no success. I attempted to do the job myself but managed to cause a short which took my main power circuit breaker offline. I did not have power or heat for over 24 hours (in the middle of winter!). I could not even get the dimmer set properly since there was no room in the electrical box due to the terrible work of a previous electrician. After seeing a Home Advisor commercial I decided to give them a try. Leo called me within 10 minutes and we scheduled an appointment for the same day. He stayed in constant phone communication with me because he was running behind schedule on another job, eventhough he was only 15 minutes late getting to my house. Leo did an excellent job. He and his assistant checked each circuit before working to make sure that there was no power. They removed the wiring clutter from each box to make sure that the large dimmers had room. They tested their work constantly. After completing the project, they cleaned each fixture with cleaning solution and they removed all of the debris which was far above my expectations. They even completed my son's chore for the day, cleaning the stairs to the second floor. After installing a dimmer at the top of the steps they swept the entire staircase! It was cleaner after they left than before they arrived! I did not think that it could get any better, but it did. When Leo told me the price it was less than half of what I expected! Leo is very honest, personable, and polite. He asked my permission before entering each room. The level of attention to detail he gave for such a small job was wonderful. Especially since he told me that he typically works on large commercial projects. I will never need another electrician again. Leo is my go to guy. "Well they did as was original explained by the sales person plus they explained in detail as they worked... They had to pump more cellulose in my attic than the had anticipated so job took a lil longer... But long story short I was pleased when they left bc I watched n they seemed to do a throrow job... Well it's a lil over a month since n right away I noticed my apt was not cold any more if any thing I had to lower my thermostat to 65 bc the apt was like a Sauna if I kept it at 69-70 like before! I jus recieve my first Nat'l grid bill and it was over 100 dollars less... And according to the bill it shows the usage from last year compared to this year... Very significant! Well I'm warm n cozy n there is a blizzard going on at this moment! I plan to comeback n update in another month or two to report if the savings r consistent... But so far getting this done I feel is the best n smartest decision I've made. For those who want to compare sq ft to price... My area was 70 sq ft plus the space between my ceiling n roof in two rooms... One room they stated was 2 ft of space that had to b filled ... Plus they were sweet enough to take photos of the condition of my roof for me so I didn't have to climb up which I had planned to do to check the condition of my roof... They saved me the trouble...I was able to evaluate work that I needed to do in the near future by the photo... So Thanks to Angies list and to JC Home Care n thier very professional n friendly tech guys...Highly recommended!

"I called ECM yesterday and spoke with Carly. I told her I had an outside Quietside AC unit just for my sunroom that was not blowing cold air and showing an E4 error message. She said she will have someone there at my house tomorrow morning. Well, as promised, Bill and his son Sean showed up before noon and found a defective schraeder valve which was what was causing the leak of refrigerant and giving the error message. They replaced the valve and added refrigerant. Now the unit blows ice cold air! They were polite, responsive and knowledgeable. I will be using them for all my ac issues as I have central air also. Great job guys! Thank You! Please tell Carly I said thank you also.
