"I had a leak at the joint where the hot tap water hose connects to the pipe in my upstairs bathroom sink.  I tried to replace the hose but the leak had been there for awhile and the joint was very corroded.  When I tried to remove the joint to replace, it caused the connection from the pipe to the joint behind the wall to come loose, and that caused a leak behind the wall.  At this point I was freaking out because I'm an amateur at plumbing, and something I thought would be a simple hose replace turned out to be a huge disaster.  I called Joe that night, which was after hours, and he came out early the next day.  I was not at home when he came out, but my boyfriend said he was very nice and priced everything fairly.  After a $25 coupon, from Angie's List, the price was only $155.  That included him making a trip to the store and purchasing the parts, and installing them.  He also put a washer in the drain to fix a leak from a previous plumber's error, and flushed the facet out, because I caused debris to clog it when I was trying to fix it on my own.
My experience with the first plumber was why I decided to try and fix it on my own to save money.  JBC plumbing made me feel a lot more confident that I was not getting ripped off, and he was very nice and understanding.  If I have any future problems with the plumbing in the house I won't hesitate to call Joe again, I would recommend him to anyone.

"Very prompt and professional plumbers both on the phone and in person.  Originally we were scheduled for a Wednesday but they worked me in on Tuesday since I already had the day off, which I really appreciate.
My house was built in 1960 and didn't have water shutoff valves under two sinks.  I had them add those to the water lines for those sinks and replace a faucet.  However, one of the pipes broke (which happened on a different sink with a different company too) because of corrosion on the pipes so they had to create an access in the closet behind the sink and fix that pipe as well.
They even had a very nice little access cover for that which looks really good.  Most plumbers just knock a hole in your wall and leave it like that.
I bought a deal offered for $79 for $200 worth of labor, so my final bill was 301 since I already paid the $79 to Angie's list.  $501 for all the work that was done was a great price in my opinion and the quality and customer service was amazing.
I didn't really have a go to plumber for my needs before, but I do now.  I'll be using them again in the future.

"Gary and his partner, Forest, were very pleasant to work with. Gary is very professional and can do almost any project. I was building a  kitchen in a former dining room in my 1915 house and needed to remove two windows to make room for the new cabinets. Gary and Forest removed the windows, boarded up the openings, replaced the cedar siding outside, and painted the new boards so that you couldn't tell windows had ever been there. Insulation and sheetrock were installed and taped. I did the painting to save money. They arrived when they said they would and Gary always called if there was a delay. They installed new wiring for the refrigerator, stove, microwave, two switches and 5 can lights, plus installed the cans. Adjusted the circuits in the electrical panel to accommodate the new wiring and installed under counter lighting. 
In January, 2014, Gary built a beautiful corner window bench with storage for me and installed it in the kitchen, replaced old knob and tube wiring in the upstairs, added an outlet in the bathroom, removed old toilet and vanity, installed new vanity and toilet, and installed light fixture. 
I consider Gary the very finest contractor I could have found. He listens to my suggestions, is very amenable to any changes, patiently answers my questions, and makes suggestions if he thinks something may not be feasible or cost effective. I already have a list of future projects waiting for Gary to handle. Anyone hiring him will be very pleased with the whole experience and his costs are very reasonable.

Mr. Stephens was on time and very very polite and courteous. 

Mr. Stephens and his associate, moved within the house very professionally to bring in the materials they needed to remove the old sump pump and to install the new one. Then they did a great job in cleaning up. Also Mr. Stephens took time to explain and to demonstrate the new battery backup sump pump answering all my questions and concerns.

Also he helped repair the pipes for the sink and washer and then installed a new shower head.  

He was so professional and friendly that he will be the plumber for this house for as long as I live here

"Initially I tried several vendors for estimates and had either no response or no follow-through. Rising Height did respond and said they could not take on anything else through the end of the year (this was approximately mid-November). Fast forward to February. I contacted them again and was told I could text a picture to receive an estimate. Mike then called, making arrangements to give an estimate the next Friday. On Wednesday he called saying he was nearby and if convenient could stop by that day. He did so, bringing John (his drywaller), and within a couple days Mike texted me with an estimate for ceiling repair plus one for priming/painting when done. Work was to start the following Wednesday after my daughter and I had cleared counter tops. Due to a sudden health issue we were unable to prepare the kitchen and asked to postpone the job. Mike first offered to do the prep for us, then agreed to postpone the work for a week. Thursday, March 7, Mike and Chad arrived on time, took out remaining dropped ceiling framing and drywall and replaced ceiling. Friday morning John came to finish drywall prep which took just a few hours; he was to return Saturday to sand dried compound. However, I had forgotten an appointment we had on Saturday, so Mike and John returned Friday evening to finish the ceiling. At all times during this project Mike and his team were professional, personable, and quick to respond to any concerns. The ceiling looks wonderful, the overall experience was great, and I would not hesitate to recommend Rising Height Unlimited to anyone!"
