"Excellent. John set to work right away. He worked very fast and was very knowledgeable. He determined a baseboard heater needed replacement and gave options to choose. He had a very complex task with a porch light the had no power only to find the circuit was dead and found a light fixture that was miswired and had burned the insulation off the wire. He repaired it . finding the problem required getting into the attic crawl space to trace where the wires went. I was grateful he found and fixed it as it was dangerous."

They were able to send someone out the same day, and quoted me a $299 base fee. Every other electrician I called either said they were at least a week out, or had an emergency fee of $500 or more. 2. The electrician who came was SUPER friendly and helpful. 3. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (it turned out to be relatively simple). 4. He then refused to accept even a partial payment, since the fix was so simple, and he was already in the neighborhood on another job. "I had Mike Guess come to my 100 year old home to give me an estimate for addinging air conditioning to the house and for potentially replacing a 28 year old furnace. I also need a consultation on our old ductwork and he was able to include abatement and new ductwork in the bid. The bid was very competetive and well organized. Mike took the time to explain everything to me and was very responsive to followup questions I sent (many). In the end we used another company. It was not because of anything negative about Sun Glow and Mike Guess. In fact it was a very challenging decision to make. I think we would have been very happy with the work they did for us and way they did the work. If someone is reading this review, I encourage you to consider calling Sun Glow heating and Air Conditioning if you are looking to update your system.
