Yes, there were issues discovered, we did some changes and adjustments along the way - it can't go too smoothly if you are gutting and restoring a 40 years old house. To be honest, having had some previous experience with home renovations and general contractors, we did manage our expectations in the beginning - it's no secret how these projects can turn into nightmare with no light at the end of the tunnel. Well, not this time. We had our old 1975 no-particular-style house turned into a beautiful countryside cottage with the best curb appeal in the neighborhood:-) Just a tip: be vocal about what it is that you want, don't assume - your contractor isn't a mind-reader, be specific about what you are looking for and Eminent will make it happen."
