He was very responsive via email as we worked to schedule a time for his crew to come do the work, which was mainly water tank and heating system maintenance. "We were very pleased with the work that the Genove technicians did. They removed our 40-year-old gas boiler and associated water heater and replaced it with a new system. They tested the new system carefully, put explanatory tags on all of the relevant pipes and faucets, and cleaned up well. The team members were polite and worked hard. We had similarly good experiences when Genove technicians came to repair our central AC system. They were knowledgeable and efficient, got the system going again, and the price was fair. "They were very fast to respond to my call and were able to send someone within two hours. The replacement of the hot water heater went well. For the water pipes they use copper crimp fittings instead of soldering so it will be interesting to see how that holds up over the years. My only concern is how they ran the gas line. They use Gastite CSST which is fine, but the CSST is run so it goes downward then back up and then downward again before it enters black pipe that has a moisture trap. It seems to me that if there is any moisture it will end up in the CSST instead of the trap. In addition, there is a pretty good bend in the CSST right before it goes into the trap section. Also, Teflon tape was used on the all the joints instead of joint compound. I think I will get someone from a different company to come in and take a look at it."

"We have had several Sila visits in recent months - all exceptional. VISIT 1: We had old pipes and valves that limited our dishwasher, so we had that replaced. While there, the Sila agent suggested we replace some of the attached lines and managed to streamline our hookups by removing some of the unneeded valves and connections no longer needed. VISIT 2: We similarly had a great visit and instal from David, who did a very beautiful install on our new water heater. He removed the broken unit, improved the connection design, put in improved valves and labelled each with a tag, then tagged other connections through the basement."
