"Our central air unit died and we called Sila due to the good reviews. Turns out they won’t install a new AC unit if the furnace is more than 10 years old (ours was). So we had to do both at once (ouch). They started off quoting us $11k over the phone, then it jumped up to $16 when they saw our system in person. (1950 sq foot house). Finally they came back with $13k for the cheapest system in our size range. Overall I think we really overpaid and it left a bad taste in my mouth. That said, Sila gets an A+ for availability and service. They came and installed next day which was essential because we have a young child and it was over 90 degrees that week. Actual installation was great. System works well. Next time I’ll anticipate a system replacement before we get to an emergency situation. I think this could have been done for thousands cheaper, on a longer timeline."

"Did a very thorough cleaning and inspection of both units.  Scheduled within two days of calling them, came exactly when scheduled and did a very professional job.  Both of these units were originally purchased from and installed by N.E.T.R. and they have always been a great company to work with.  I would highly recommend them. <br />"

"Peter and Billy installed a mini-split a/c system in my home recently. There were 3 head units on 3 different floors. They arrived on time, discussed the work with me, and explained what they were doing when I would pop in to check on the progress. It was a two-day installation with rain on the first day and heat/humidity on the second. Throughout both days both Peter and Billy remained of good cheer, working efficiently, without a grumble about the weather. An electrician, Chris, joined them on the second day and completed his work quickly. He even took the time to tack up a dangling powerline in the drop ceiling of the basement that wasn't part of the a/c install. Mid-afternoon on the second day everything was complete. Peter walked me through the work they had done, inside and outside. He asked if I had any questions or concerns. I'm very happy with the work that was done and would recommend them to anyone who asked."

"The installers seemed to be quite knowledgeable and professional. They concentrated on doing the lob, were thorough and pleasant. They answered all questions to my satisfaction. Everything was done on time and all equipment and workers arrived on schedule. They were careful not to create any excess dust during the installation and did a good job of cleaning up when the work was done. In spite of the attic temperature being well over 80 degrees, they worked continuously and finished on schedule. I would recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone who is looking for a high quality, professional job. They demonstrated the technical knowledge and engineering capabilities to evaluate the job and to select the right equipment for my requirements, more so than several other providers were able to do. I was not looking for the least expensive job, but for the best engineering capabilities for a fairly large house with a good sized, north facing sun room and many windows. <br />"

"It's not a good time to try to get your AC fixed--90 degrees out and everyone wanting service. Atlantic was recommended by a friend. They scheduled an appointment within a few days of my call. Parts needed to be ordered and a second appointment was again scheduled within a few days of the part coming in (they had to work around my schedule). Both Mike and Alex were great--very professional. They do charge for mileage, hence the B on price, but I was very pleased with their approach and would call on them again. <br />"

"Terrific. Excellent communication, responded quickly to post installation tweeks. 128 Plumbing and Heating provided one of 3 estimates. They were tied at the upper end. However, they worked closely with us to look at our system options, explaining everything. I'd asked why they recommended a smaller furnace than the others had recommended which were the same capacity of the existing unit. The representative went over the process to arrive at his conclusion. For the cost change we were able to add some features we liked that now fit into our budget. The AC unit they speced out was more efficient than what we had where the other estimates recommended a less costly and less efficient unit for about the same cost. I will note one if the vendors sat in his truck and scribbled out his estimate in broad terms with little detail. I had expected more from the size of the company he represented. 128 arrived earlier than their 3 week scheduled installation date. They completed the work in 2 days, corrected some items not on the agreement, but were necessary or an improvement As with any job there were a couple of small hiccups. But they were very responsive and when finishing the last bit put tarps down on the floor as to not track dirt into our living area. They left the basement area cleaner than they found it. Did I mention as a former general contractor I was a difficult customer?"
