"I purchased a hot tub from someone over a year ago, but didn't get it set in place or wire until recently. After getting it wired, the tub wouldn't fire up. My dad installed a new motor, but we still couldn't get the jets going. I gave Joe a call on Monday he said he would be out Wednesday or Thursday. I received a call Tuesday morning saying he could come out today. He was very thorough with checking all the components of the tub and explaining evertything as he was doing his thing. Unfortunately my dad crossed the wires and forgot to hook up a few others. About an hour and a half later, I had a fully functioning hot tub. He even took the time to explain to me how to clean and properly care for my spa since it is my first one. I will definitely give Joe a call for any future hot tub needs.

"I don't normally write reviews but this company that I've never used before was so prompt and helpful that I felt the need to actually write a review. Today I called La Place for the first time mid-morning and an electrician was at my house in 2-3 hours. He checked a bit and determined it was an AEP issue (of which I was skeptical). He showed me on the outside electric meter what the readings were and what they were supposed to be. He explained what sort of problem I had and told me how to explain it to AEP. He even rearranged some wiring so the furnace would run while I waited for AEP to fix the underground wires outside that feed into my house. He explained things well and took the time needed. I'd definitely use La Place Electric again! I haven't seen the bill yet, but I'm grateful that what I feared was a safety issue was not and I'm grateful I didn't have to take any more time off work waiting for an electrician. And a thanks to AEP also. They dug up the underground wire in my yard and repaired it that evening in the dark! I'm now back to full power."

"We have a smoke alarm that is located 20 feet u from the floor. Several people declined to come out, including one that wanted $89 just to come and give us an estimate. The $89 did not apply toward the estimate if we accepted. Richard Riley, from Electrical Edge, had us text a picture and said he would be happy to do the job. "I have had them for 19 years. I have had a number of issues, primarily with my air conditioning systems. It can be really costly to repair, so I have kept my policy intact. They have also made repairs to my microwave oven, my garage door a couple of times, plumbing, and electrical. They are always there for me and have been pretty responsive to get somebody to come out and fix whatever is broken. It can be as quick as the same day or 2-3 days later, it all depends on when I call and what type of service I am asking for. You have to go through a call center and push this and that. The call center could use some improvement. It's like a robo call. Once you talk to a human, they are pretty professional."
