"I couldn t be happier with the quick response and job done by Jeff Franklin of Home Theater Associates! He responded online the evening I submitted my request to Home Advisor and called me the next morning. He was able to get the job done that afternoon! He connected my old Bose turntable and Go Video VCR/DVD player to my Bose surround sound system (which was not working properly) and Sony HDTV. He was able to get rid of extra wiring, which I appreciated. Most importantly, he had me write down his clear and simple instructions for using the remotes. He watched and advised me as I practiced using the remotes to watch the TV, a VCR tape, a DVD, and listen to CDs AND my vinyl records, through the working surround sound system! I m thrilled to have this all working and to have the confidence I know how to use it. Thank you Home Advisor for connecting me to Home Theater Associates. "They installed a wall mount TV and home entertainment system. The installer concealed all of the wires. (I hate when wires show) I have only one remote that controls everything: TV and ALL the apps, music and lights! I would definitely recommend."

"The computer technician, Tammy, was excellent.  He arrived on time and was very personable.  Our computer is several years old and has been running slow, so he cleaned it up for us.  He tried to show us how to perform some maintenance tasks on our own.  
After he was finished, he had to call in to the main Geek Choice number to settle the bill.  When I spoke with the person on the phone from Geek Choice, I was astonished when they told me the bill was for $300, which included 2.5 hours service at $100 per hour and a $50 fee for home visit.  I informed her that I had ordered the first hour through Angie's List for $75 and that the home visit fee was waived.  She retrieved my information and charged me a balance of $135, to include the reduced hourly fee of $90 per hour.  So Angie's List saved me almost $100, which I totally appreciate.  
I give the technician high marks but the company, Geek Choice, seems like just another corporation trying to make more money off the consumer than they should.  I'm glad I went through Angie's List.

"Doug was awesome! From scheduling the estimate to job wrap-up, we were very impressed with his commitment and follow through. Most important to me was his communication. We had a very detailed and challenging project in which there were many avenues that could have been chosen. Doug methodically coached us through the process so that we would have the most user friendly system utilizing both new and existing equipment and wiring, leaving us with a very user friendly system. He could easily steered us into buying a lot of new equipment, but he worked in our best interests and kept the job cost very reasonable. We now have three zones of high end sound for music and two surround systems for home theater, all controlled simply from our smart phones and Harmony remote. We encountered some challenges at first that were clearly learning issues. Not expecting response to my message on a Sunday, but Doug called right away and spent (too much) time and made sure that we were crystal clear with his direction. A further note; the talent that Doug had on his team was incredibly knowledgable and efficient! A great, non intrusive and highly professional crew that i wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. In fact, we have already pointed him to friends who need system work done at their home. Very pleased to have had such a great lead that we would otherwise not have known without HomeAdvisor."

"This company made everything easy and the result was perfect!! I needed a large 82” tv hung in my living room and also an electronic fireplace mounted under it. In addition I wanted the wires hidden which was done to perfection. I also in my hallway had a huge decorative picture with a frame and it was extremely heavy and they mounted it perfectly. Also I had a floating cabinet in my man cave to store my PS5 gaming system and they installed that as well. The company appeared to pay attention to detail constantly measuring and using a level to be sure the outcome was right. I would recommend this company to anyone for tv, sound or any other type of installs."
