"I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. This review is for all of you that are like me and come here to get the low down on a business. Do not hesitate to go with South Shore Fireplace. "I had called another service to come in for an estimate and they called at the last-minute to say they couldn't come at the appointed time and to call to reschedule...which I did not. I called Bob's Magic Broom & set up an appt. Rep Joe, arrived on time and was just a nice guy who deemed the fireplace "just fine" to light a fire and cleaned out the oil furnace ducts...he also replaced the screws holding the piping in place. Just a professional and personable experience - I will definitely be using them again."

"Friendly and quality professional workers. Getting an initial appointment scheduled with them was a bit of game of phone tag, but once that was scheduled I had a good experience. Mike came by before providing an estimate, he clearly laid out what he wanted to do and I received the quote 2 days later. They clearly answered my questions before scheduling the work. I had them change all outlets and lights on my 3rd floor which included adding new wire and breakers to my box on the 1st floor. They completed the work for 6 outlets, 6 lights and a new breaker/wire in 3 mornings. They created way less holes in my walls than I was expecting, all holes were very clean cut and easy to patch. Things were dusty from cutting drywall but overall everything was left very clean above my expectations. I did have to call them back to get info about quote/schedule/invoice every time. But the people on the phone were friendly and also responsive in their follow up."
