"Had a spill that rendered my microwave unusable (power surge). I called the manufacturer and they would take 5d to come and evaluate the issue for a set fee. If I decided to use them the service fee was not counted toward the repair. Found TheJetFix on-line and called. They were out within 1d, diagnosed the issue and ordered the parts. The repair could not be completed as there was additional damage. They ordered another part and ultimately fixed the issue. This was important to me as I did not want to get rid of a perfectly good appliance and add to the ever growing landfills. Also, a new unit would have cost me more that 2x the repair (Thermador microwave). Arthur and John were great. Both courteous and professional and passed whatever savings they could on to me. Cannot say enough about this service. You will not be disappointed if you hire them. By the way, their service fee was counted toward my repair! Good business practice!"

"We hired Joseph to install a new under-cabinet microwave that did not match the footprint of the old one, requiring some tile work. He did a great job and you can't tell that some serious rejiggering was required. He also did a great job replacing several old, single pane, oddly sized windows. Clearly the previous owners couldn't have been bothered to find non-factory size windows, but he sourced great replacements, did a beautiful job installing them promptly, dealt with supply chain issues with grace, and even included finishing touches we hadn't thought of, like installing a curtain rod and curtain for a shower window. The windows and microwave have been there a couple years now and are doing great!"

"I could not be happier with the entire experience with Appliance Repair Genie and especially Al, the service repair person I worked with directly. They were very timely in response, especially since it was 2 days before a household of people were arriving for the holidays with plenty of laundry! "Jonesy lives in the next town and he happened  to have a little time free so he came right over an hour later.
I could not remove the blown bulb in the freezer. Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to call an appliance repair guy, but was glad I did.  He told me with newer refrigerators with electronic displays,  if the bulb breaks, it can short out the mother board and turn into a costly repair.  So I asked him to do it.
He had a tough time but was able to remove the bulb without breaking it.  While he was here, I had him clean the compressor and front grill.
He suggested that you always put a little Vaseline on the threads of the bulb to prevent this problem in the future. Clearly, the original bulb had been over tightened and, as I saw on line, is not an uncommon problem.  
He was very personable and offers a $10 discount to Angie's List members.  I will definitely use him again.

"The service was excellent. Dave arrived on time. He was quite professional: respectable in appearance, friendly, courteous, respectful, and ready to go to work. He completed the job in about an hour (a fraction of what I allowed for), being good enough to explain things along the way, tips on product care (which he did not sell me) included. He left the job as if no one had been in my kitchen. This is the way "service" should be. I should know, I was a service manager for years...Dave did everything right."
