"Wow! Superb job. I had 4 dinette chairs that needed to be re-cushioned & reupholstered. I brought them to Burke's on Saturday, 4/18/15 & told them that I needed them by the following Saturday if possible but definitely within 2 weeks. They had told me on the phone that they might have some scraps from another job that they could use. When I arrived to drop the cushions off I looked through books to find what I wanted & then asked about the scraps. They did have scraps from another job & I found 1 that would work & that they had enough of for all 4 chairs. I received a call on the Monday afternoon that the chairs were ready. Couldn't get there until the Friday but picked them up & they are wonderful! The workmanship is great & was so glad I used them thanks to other great reviews on Angie's List about them. <br />"

"Overall, excellent. We are delighted with our new closets. From my pre-research standpoint, we learned (and liked) that Spaceman 1) got a lot of really good reviews on Angie's List; 2) has a showroom (since 2007) off of W. T.C. Jester which is opens on Saturdays (and located right by Karbach Brewery which also serves lunch- a plus!); 3) offers free in-home consultation; 4) does not use subcontractors; 5) has a lifetime, transferable guarantee; 6) has been in business since 1998; 6) manufactures all of their product in Houston; 7) accepts Visa, MC, Amex and checks; 8) has a partnership with David Weekley homes and several other quality home builders; 9) has been on Angie's List since 2009. We also liked that their projects, based on Angie's List, have a spread from $500 to $10,000, so a wide range leading us to believe that no project is too small. At the showroom, Hilary, who was our salesperson, was very helpful explaining in detail the products Spaceman offers. We liked that their take-home packet had lots of referrals by ZIP CODE so, if you wanted, you could contact someone in your area to find out about their experience. Hilary was also the one who came out to our house to do the measurements. Michele was the scheduler and kept us very informed. From the on-site installation experience, we had a couple of hiccups along the way (one being my fault), but everything was resolved to our complete satisfaction. David, the owner, personally called us, and that meant a LOT to know that the owner gets involved to make sure everyone is happy. The installers were all great -professional, polite, skilled, hard working. It should be noted that we had to coordinate our demolition crew (to remove the old closet organizers, expand one of the closets, sheet rock and paint), then Spaceman to install the closet organizers, and finally the Sliding Door Company to install our sliding doors."

"Joe was awesome.  I sent out 2 previous emails to other  Handymen on this site.  Never got a reply.  Took pics of my cabinet and asked for a quote etc.  They never bothered to respond.  I then typed in  Cabinets and up popped Joe.  He responded right away and came to my house to take measurements etc and see exactly what he needed to build a cabinet to fit my space.   My cabinet was over 30 years old.   He quoted me a price.  I gave him half and he said it would be ready in about a week and a half.  Well,  one week later he called and said it was ready.  He and his helper came and took out my old cabinet and replaced it with his new one.  He had to take my marble slate off the top and also my mirror above the cabinet.  He made sure he cleaned up after his work. It looks terrific.   I thank him because he is a busy guy and did a small job for me when the others I contacted on Angies List didn't have time to even respond back.   He is one great craftsman and cabinet maker. <br />"

"Rudy Vanegass made the cabinets for our kitchen renovation and master bathroom addition. We couldn't be happier. He matched the style of our existing kitchen cabinets and did an excellent job. He made wonderful suggestions about the style and color of the cabinets. He was able to build the new master bathroom vanity cabinets to match the stain color and furniture stye of our master bedroom furniture. <br />"

"I was very pleased with Beth's consultation. She is professional and easy to work with. She suggested how I could use the furniture, etc. that I had. We rearranged the living room furniture into a more workable plan. Later that evening she sent me a summary of everything we had discussed. Beth will direct you to other merchants for services, products, etc. if you wish. She is not a high-pressure sales person trying to sell you everything under the sun, however. I appreciated that."
