"Kevin showed up promptly each time as promised.  He communicated regularly through e-mail and text.  They were very careful to cover carpet, flooring, and furniture to protect from dirt and dust.  Incredible attention to detail throughout the entire process.  You can't even tell where they cut holes and then patched the ceiling and walls.  Somehow managed to match the paint exactly even though I had no idea of the color.  And they were nice to my dog!

He was a little on the pricey side compared to other estimates we received but having worked with another contractor you definitely get what you pay for - what he charged was well worth the peace of mind that we were not being ripped off and had complete and quality results at the end. Workers were professional and besides the occasional noise we hardly knew they were there. Quality of work and attention to details was great. We had some unforeseen delays but with most construction contracts we kind of expected it. The difference was that Rob kept us informed every step of the way. "Backyard custom construction LLC. Is awesome. Not only did they kill everyone's prices around Atlanta to build the same building but they are extremely efficient. Everyone else I contacted gave me quotes for over $4000.00 dollars. Dustin quoted me over the phone by text and on a live call $2930.00 and then I added 2 stairs to the building which only cost an additional $50.00. I'm completely amazed at how fast these guys were. It only took 5 1/2 hours to build and clean up. Thanks guys I will be passing your name to everyone I know that wants a building built."

"Kevin and his Team did an awesome job for us. We needed to have a couple of boards replaced on our chimney chase due to animal caused damaged. While working on that, they found some additional damage that we couldn't see from the ground. We had them fix that area too. They did a thorough job for us at a great price. We will definitely be contacting them again with any future siding/painting projects!"

"We enjoyed working with Frank and getting his ideas on how to build our new deck.  He offered a lot of nice suggestions after signing the contract, none of them changing the price he quoted us (which was very competitive).  He thought of things that could be done to enhance the deck using existing materials (i.e., eliminating waste) and to make the deck more functional.  His experience building decks was clear.  The crews showed up on time and were very professional to work with.  They also offered many ideas while building the deck, also not adding to the cost.  Our deck is over 1000 sq/ft so we appreciated all the ideas.  Per our request, they did a nice job cleaning the work area each day so our kids and dog could play outside safely.  They didn't seem to mind this at all.  We really enjoyed the crew.
The negatives:-
-  Our credit card was charged at each agreed upon interval, except they never asked for authorization.  This wasn't a big deal but after mentioning this to them after the first time they continued to charge without authorization.  We were not really concerned since they were on schedule and doing a fine job and charging the agreed upon amount.  Just be aware in case you plan on using multiple forms of payment (e.g., more than one credit card).

• - After they finished the project we needed them to come back out to make a few "adjustments".  Just normal expected things.  They kept giving us a day when they would show up, but would not make it out.  It rained a tremendous amount during this period and we knew they were behind and we were fine with that (we didn't have anything that couldn't wait and we trusted them).  It just would have been nice if they called to let us know they weren't going to make it out that day in order to set our expectations instead of us calling every few days to check on the next attempt date (they did answer when we called so they weren't trying to avoid us or anything like that).  They eventually made it out and gladly took care of everything we asked for.  I am confident they will continue to take care of warranty items in the future if any arise.
• Overall, I would use them again and have recommended them to our neighbors.  We really did enjoy the crew and the final product was on-schedule, at agreed upon price, and came out super nice.  I am glad we chose Deck Pro.  We got 5-6 quotes and found out that most of the contractors were jack-of-all-trades that hire crews that are not deck experts (they may be fine but we were more comfortable going with a deck company).  Frank employs his crews and all they do is build decks, or similar projects.  The crews work together on each project so they know each other well and know how to work together.  Good experience, I do recommend.
