Our property has some historic preservation restrictions, and they took the time to understand those requirements and help us navigate them. They also worked with our Historic Preservation Commission to propose windows that met the guidelines while still staying within our budget, which we really appreciated. On installation day their crew arrived early, were professional, and were very straightforward when I asked questions about the windows. They also showed me how to properly operate the folding windows and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. Overall a very smooth experience. "Josh, the representative from Basement Gurus was outstanding! We had experienced a water issue in our finished basement. Josh thoroughly examined the interior and exterior of the home and determined that the leak might be plumbing related. Josh could have very easily exploited our ignorance and suggested a solution purely beneficial to his company that may not have addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead, he demonstrated his integrity by realistically assessing the situation even if it would jeopardize the sale. This is commendable particularly in this era where cutthroat business practices are commonplace. I highly recommend Basement Gurus. "My handyman recommended Aldefer glass as I need to replace the glass in my shower since it was an unusual size. When they were here to measure they mentioned they also could replace my kitchen windows. I was excited, one stop shopping. Well it’s two different departments... They had to come back and remeasure the windows, Another 2 week wait. They would not order until I gave them a 50% deposit (which is OK). They told me it would be 2 wks to get the glass then approx 2 weeks to install. I had to call numerous times to see if windows had arrived and schedule install. Bottomline my 4 wk anticipated install was over 2 months, then the middle glass in the tempered shower shattered during install ( 2 phone calls and 4 Additional weeks later shower complete). Kitchen windows still not right. Flys keep getting stuck between window and screen so I can’t open 2 of 6 windows in my kitchen. Terrible customer service. I have several more windows that I need to replace, they will not get my business. Truly awful experience."

"Recently we hired Ardmore to replace the glass in 2 of our skylights and install a new storm door. Other than rain delays the skylights were installed in less than 2 hours as Ardmore sent 2 crews for the installation. They even came inside to vacuum any debris that might have fallen into the house during the installation. (5 out of 5). The installation of the storm doors was different. It took over 10 hours for 2 men to finish the installation which I felt was excessive and felt they didn't do the installation correctly. The difference between a good company and a better company is how well they fix a problem and to this point they are doing a better job. When I called to complain the scheduler immediately suggested they send out someone to inspect the work and within 3 days someone came out and fixed 2 out of the 3 problems and said someone would be calling me and ordering a replacement part to fix the 3rd problem"

"Paying for a leak $10.000 that now is still even more the job started October now it's February and asking me what to do because they can't come up with a solution they came out to recheck the problem and now the are avoiding my calls / texts "
