"Contacted contractor for a quote to repair a crack in our basement wall which was leaking during recent heavy rains.
He was very courteous on the phone, showed up on time, called to say he was on the way, thouroughly explained the process to repair the crack and followed through with a good job. The crew he sent were a little late but they called early to let us know that they were running late. When they arrived they put down drop cloths throughout the house where they would be walking, including the basement stairs. They were polite and did not mind that I wanted to watch the process. They explained everything as they worked and politely answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves and explained the warranty and all the details. Even though the work has only been complete for a couple of days, I do not really see how any water could penetrate the patch that was installed.
Although this job was small, I would highly recommend this company for this type of work.

"Mike Mellor (MGM Carpentry) had previously completed kitchen cabinet work and we then hired him to replace our existing entertainment center with a custom built one. Mike and his crew were professional, efficient, courteous and neat. We love his work so much that we are already talking to him about another job at our home. "MHI repainted my house in the fall of 2016. They initially did a sloppy job while going 40% over the initial estimate. But in October 2019 they came back out to fix some problems with the earlier work and to perform some additional work at a very reasonable cost. The crew that originally painted my house is no longer with the company. Bill's crew performed the work this year, and did a much better job. Bill will have a prominent role in MHI going forward, so I am confident they will be a very different company than the one I dealt with in 2016. I'll likely have Bill's crew repaint the interior of my house when this is done in a month or so. While I gave the 2016 MHI poor grades, Bill earned all A's."
