"Provider responded promptly to initial inquiry, and came to home to assess project carefully. Provider was exactly prompt with our appointment, and very helpful during the assessment, which included matching colors of grouts. Price and contract proposal were provided upon conclusion of the visit. Service was scheduled carefully, and provider adhered exactly to our agreed schedule. Provider was easily accessible by email, phone and text (text was a great way to verify and follow up). Predicted length of service visit proved exactly correct (about 1 day), and provider and a crew member arrived exactly on time on the agreed date. Providers were careful and clean in our home with their equipment and various grouts, caulks and chemicals. They removed their shoes entering our home, and worked professionally - meticulous, actually - throughout the visit. Upon conclusion, payment was made, exactly as predicted (no surprises), and an offer was made to return later if any defects were discovered. We are pleased with the result. In one area, the grout matches so well we have a hard time rediscovering the repaired sections. In another area, it was harder to match the grout; although it looks very good, it's not a perfect match, perhaps because of the age of the existing grout or subtle changes in the grout color formula. Still, we are very pleased."

"Called on a Thursday afternoon around 3pm requesting installation be done early the next day. Felt rushed but alternative was to wait till end of following week. Awaken by doorbell at 8:10AM. Being retired, we usually get up between 7:30 and 8:30. Obviously I dressed quickly to answer the door. <br /> Install went okay except for two problems. There are seven sections of windows. We decided to have the top of the 4 panel window gray with the bottom three panels clear. One of the sections came with the top panel clear. I pointed that out to the supervisor of the crew, total of 3 people. There is also one other panel where the vinyl is scratched. Supervisor says that will clear up but after a few days it hasn't, not that I expected it would, and will call it in before they come back to replace the clear panel with gray. <br /> Do have spackling to do on top area of the patio. That is from poor construction on builders part, not Premier. <br />"

"The experience went exceptionally well.  All work was performed as specifically noted on the estimate and contract.  The work was completed timely.  The workers were polite, courteous and answered all questions that my wife or I had, and allowed us to see the progress of the work.  The owner, Craig, was accessible throughout the project and promptly responded to any/all concerns we had.  We were thoroughly pleased with the process from start to finish, and will certainly recommend All About Waterproofing Inc to our friends and family.   JOB WELL DONE! <br />"

FAQs for door or window screens install or repair projects in Ocean City, MD

Most off-the-shelf screens come in fixed sizes, ranging from 18 inches by 20 inches to 36 inches by 74 inches, which fit the vast majority of residential windows. If your opening falls outside that range or has a unique shape, you’ll need a custom screen built to the exact measurements. Going custom ensures a secure fit, a solid barrier against bugs, and a clean, finished look.

The decision to repair or replace your screen depends on the extent of the damage. Small holes or tears in otherwise solid mesh can be patched, and a sturdy frame usually doesn’t need to go anywhere. However, once the frame is bent or the mesh is brittle and fraying in several spots, replacement becomes a more sensible option—and often proves to be less costly in the long run. Take a close look at both parts before making a decision.

To rescreen a window, start by prying out the old spline, then lift the torn mesh from the frame. Lay the new screen over the frame, allowing about an inch of excess on all sides, and hold it in place while pressing fresh spline into the groove with a roller. Check that the mesh is taut—many pros rest a small brick on it while they work—then trim the overhang with a utility knife.

Most window screens last for 10 to 12 years. Time, sun, and weather gradually make the mesh brittle, so you’ll start to see sagging, rips, or thinning spots that let bugs get through. Check the screens each season; if the mesh crumbles or the frame warps, it’s time to replace them to keep air flowing and pests outside.

Most pros can swap out a screen in 10 minutes to an hour. A quick pop‑in replacement goes fastest, while fitting new mesh into an existing frame or working on a hard‑to‑reach upper window adds time. Either way, plan for at least a few extra minutes per screen so the installer can verify the fit and ensure the spline is seated correctly.
