"Our furnace would not turn off, so we first tried putting new batteries in our programmable thermostat. However, doing that did not fix the problem. Next, I called Parley’s PPM Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling for some help. David, who answered the phone, was pleasant and helpful, and he made an appointment for us for the next day within the 8 am to 10 am time period. Meanwhile, we worked on reprogramming the thermostat, which was a bit tricky, but the furnace began working properly again. We thought we would have the Parley’s furnace specialist check our furnace anyway, just to make sure there were no other problems with it. Robert Winget, the furnace specialist, arrived within the proposed time frame and was very knowledgeable and professional. He checked out our furnace and found no problems with it and there was no charge for the service."

"Dan from Expert Plumbing called me about 10:15 AM on the day of the new shower installation to get some additional information on what I needed done, and then again when he was about 10 minutes out. When he arrived, just shortly after 11 AM, he went over Expert's pricing (i.e., cost of the service call, hourly rate and minimum,etc.) and after looking very briefly at the plumbing, had me sign an invoice assuming two hours of labor (the worst case scenario in his mind). However, he explained that if he completed the work in an hour or less he would write up another invoice for one hour minimum labor charge. Dan then looked at the now exposed plumbing behind the bathtub. He saw no evidence of any leakage along the bathtub piping or on the floor during a careful inspection. However, he was unable to pressure test the piping and soldered connections because the water had been turned off and the shower-install contractor had already cut the copper piping to the now-demolished shower. He then focused on the corroded (due to hard water) nipple. It took some effort but with the correct internal pipe wrench he was able to remove it. I had purchased four nipples of differing lengths in anticipation of replacing the corroded nipple. Dan installed one of the new nipples so that a new tub spout with a threaded connection can be installed. Overall, the labor he performed took around 45 minutes, with most of that time expended on removal and replacement of the recalcitrant corroded nipple. In summary, Dan was courteous, personable, and professional. Before leaving he modified the invoice to one hour of labor, as he had discussed upon arrival. I would use Expert Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical again if needed."

"Brian came across as very professional and was able to say whether he could or could not do a specific job.  He removed our old hot water heater and dishwasher and installed the new ones very quickly and professionally, leaving behind zero mess.  (a huge plus for anyone who has dealt with contractors!)  During the installation of the water heater, a cheap, existing tap valve supplying the water to our upstairs fridge malfunctioned and Brian returned the next day with a new tap valve in hand.  It has now been several weeks, and there are no leaks nor problems with either the dishwasher nor the hot water heater!  Two huge home improvements done in one afternoon.  Overall, we were very satisfied with the work and are always happy to support the small business owner!

"Installed a new 60K Unit fully metered, automatic water softener. He has them built at the same place as alll the other major brands do, he just charges less because he is a one man company. He charged $1490.00 to do a new install of the water softener. He had another plumber along who he was considering hiring, and he told me others would charge at least twice as much for the job he did for me. I also had him install a Water Maker V reverse osmosis water filter system under my kitchen sink for $449.00 + $80 for drilling a hole through my granite. The water dispenser is very nice looking, brushed nickel. Jeff only does water softeners and water filtration, no other plumbing. He keeps his cost down by focusing on this one service. So I did end up hiring the other plumber Chad Kahn to replace my kitchen sink facet so it would match. All and all everyone did a great job and I was very happy with his service. The metered water softener after 2 months and 12,000 gallons hasn't used much salt. It looks like I will only need to fill it every 6 months. The soft water makes a Huge difference in our wash and showering. Our water is 23 grains of hardness when Jeff tested it and only 2 grains immediately after."
