Small jobs welcome

"Had a great experience with Mark and Rick. Mark responded the day I put in a request. We met that afternoon and I had his quote the next day. The work began a few days after I accepted the quote. Rick came and worked effectively and patiently - he was replacing individual bricks that had broken or flaked on our house sides. When he finished, the new brick and mortar blended almost seamlessly with the older brick. A person would have to really look to notice the difference. I will call upon Reliable anytime I need brick work done."

"It took him about 8 hours to repair the two beds. He was very responsive. I called him on Sunday evening, he started Wednesday morning and the job was complete by Wednesday evening. The work looks great. He kept me informed every step of the process, and always showed up when he said he would. I would definitely recommend him.

"I have never had a better experience. The installers showed up on time and worked throughout the day without a break. They replaced 15 windows and were finished by 3:30. They did an INCREDIBLE job, careful not to dirty the carpeting, vacuumed their mess inside, and dropped debris in trash cans outside the window openings as to not disturb by landscaping. My house looks great, my electric bill has been cut by almost $100/month, and they are so easy to clean. Being double pane it cuts a lot of the outside noise. Next project with CBI is siding. I highly recommend them."

"This was a custom mailbox.  Rich built it exactly as I wanted.  He also had good suggestions on the construction so that it would stand up to the elements.  We already had the rock, but he supplied everything else.  From the time he started digging the footing to the final clean up, it only took him 3 days.  I am very happy with his work.  He listened to what I wanted and did it exactly the way I wanted."

"They put new sheetrock up. They did a good job. When I complained about something that wasn't done as I expected, he quickly sent someone to repair it. I was quite pleased with the result. I will hire them again."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: repair or partially replace projects in Oklahoma City, OK

Stone veneer isn’t a weekend DIY. Even lightweight faux panels are heavy and must be anchored, flashed, and sealed to keep water out. Missteps can lead to cracked stone, leaks, or injuries. A licensed siding contractor arrives with scaffolding, masonry tools, and the know-how to set each piece safely and neatly, giving you a long-lasting, professional finish.

Stone veneer durability is robust when expert installation and proper maintenance are employed. When installed with precision, regularly cleaned, and sealed as required, stone veneer maintains its integrity for 25 to 75 years. Inadequate installation, however, leads to water intrusion and structural issues that compromise its longevity. Consistent upkeep and adherence to quality installation standards ensure decades of reliable performance.

Covering the entire exterior of a home with stone veneer is feasible but comes with a significant cost increase. Full coverage escalates both material and labor expenses due to the additional square footage required. Many homeowners reduce costs by applying stone veneer selectively—such as around entries, foundations, or architectural accents—while still achieving an upscale appearance and enhancing overall curb appeal.

Installing stone veneer over brick or stucco is entirely possible when the underlying surface is stable and properly prepared. The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of any loose material to support a secure application. Additionally, any areas of flaking stucco or deteriorated mortar must be patched and allowed to cure fully before a professional applies the new veneer, ensuring lasting durability.

Stone veneer siding offers a substantial cost advantage compared to full-thickness natural stone. It costs 25% of the price of natural stone because it is manufactured from concrete and lightweight aggregates. This method delivers the genuine appearance of stone while featuring a thinner profile that simplifies shipping, accelerates installation, and consistently reduces material expenses.

For a 250 square foot exterior area, stone siding installation costs range from $9,800 to $18,000, while installing stone veneer costs between $5,000 and $6,000. This clear cost breakdown demonstrates the significant savings achieved with stone veneer, which uses a lighter construction method that minimizes both material and labor expenses. Homeowners benefit from these lower costs while still attaining the attractive look of natural stone.
