"I called the plumbing company and after I explained how the hot water was just running and I had to shut off the main water line into the house to stop the flow, they rescheduled a few other jobs and came over as quickly as the could.  (Originally they gave me an afternoon appointment and then called me back about 1/2 hour later with a change in schedule to get me looked at as soon as possible).
The team came on time and had me all squared aware in a short time.
